At first we absolutely loved the school, all the actives the theme days, the diverse menu and my daughter was just flourishing. However the quality drastically went down hill. Soon activities were cut way back, there were more activities that came with additional charges. The menu was dropped to a 9am snack, lunch and an after nap snack. Most days my daughter is coming home grumpy and hungry cause her snack was just plain yogurt and cookies or crackers and apple sauce. For a child here full day thats not ok specially for the tuition that was charged.
The class rooms are stuffed full of kids always to max however the school is relying on borrowed subs and floater teachers. There was a large period my daughter was crying because they kept tying to send kids to other class rooms for ratio and it was greatly upsetting the students and parents.

When you try to speak to management about concerns you are blown off, or get comments like “ well this is a business” “ kids are shuffled and it’s unavoidable”. “ We want to open tuition spots for 3 year olds since 4 year olds can get free TK”

When I complained about a child who has continuously bullied and hit my child ( half dozen times with the same child) I get told oh well…. Maybe tell your daughter to stay away from him. So my 4 year has to defend her self because the director will not hold families she favors to the code of the handbook. We all signed renewed handbook in April that stated 2 physical incidents could be grounds for removal from the school. We have had multiple complaints against this child bullying my child since then and the blame is pushed on us- my child shouldn’t have played near him on the play ground. We are not the only family that faces this issue.

The school has no shame in telling you your child will be moved to another room even when they are not ready to open spots for other parents to increase tuition.
Take their word for it. This is a business they do not care about the wellbeing of your child. I have even gone above the director and complained to corporate who pretend to care and ask for details but never respond back and no actions are taken.
Between the management gossiping about parents to other parents, their comments made in front of children and the complete lack of regard. We made the decision to withdraw our daughter a full year earlier than planned. While the teachers try incredibly hard and give their all they are met with unprofessional and inappropriate management. The comments I have heard through the hall ways and walls are inexcusable and we will never be able to recommend this company to anyone.

This was the first school my child had ever been to. We have been at this school for almost two years. All the teachers are lovely. Ms.DeAnn, Ms.Tori, and Ms. Alexandra have all been my son's favorite teachers. They truly love the children and care about them, which has always been so important to me. My son has a lot of fun everyday and talks about all the wonderful things he did that day. There is so much different things to do in the classrooms such as sensory bins, coloring, painting, imagination play etc. One thing that stood out to me when I enrolled my son was the app that the school provides. I was able to go to work and see my child through the app which has a camera of the classroom. The teachers post pictures of the child on the app all day so you always know what they are up to, when they ate, what they ate, how long they napped, any fun activities they did etc. Also, the school is in a safe neighborhood and the front doors are always locked so only people with a personal code can get in. The director, Ms.Jessica, has shown dedication to the school and is always there to assist and help with any questions or concerns. She is wonderful!! We're going to miss it so much. There is so many good things I can say!!!

LOVELY TEAM AND SCHOOL!!

I’m grateful to have found this daycare. I was placed on a waiting list and contacted immediately once a spot was open. I’ve enjoyed watching my daughter grow in her independence and pre-k knowledge. Childtime does an amazing job at recovering any of her misplaced items. Ms. Alma is so kind and always ready to help. It’s always very warming to come in and see the kids so well behaved and treated with respect by the teachers. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Thank you, Childtime!

Wife and I are extremely happy that our little toddler princess is in this daycare. Staff is very friendly, responsive and attentive to her and our needs. She's been attending for over a year. They provide diapers, food and their hours are very convenient.

We were desperately searching for a new daycare after a horrible experience from a different facility. We were immediately welcomed with their warm and friendly staff. The director Kelly is amazing along with the toddler class teachers Perla and Yazmin. They engage with the children, do cute art projects, and outdoor play with a covered patio play area to protect little ones from the sun while outside. I also love the real-time email updates and photos. Great daycare definitely recommend it! They truly love and care for your children like you do!

I can’t say enough good things about Childtime in Chula Vista. Our, now 18 month old son started when he was 3.5 months. I was a first-time parent with a deployed husband, and I had to go back to work. We don’t have any family in the area, and I had never left my baby with anyone, ever. Not even for a trip to the store. I was so nervous to let strangers help raise my son. I quickly learned that these teachers are nothing like strangers. They welcomed our family and our son with loving arms. They talked me through everything they do on a day to day and they listened to every request I made. Raising a child is a very personal thing and I believe that no one has the right to tell you how to parent your child. Your daycare should respect and be flexible to your wishes. This Childtime did exactly that. We are a very pro-breastfeeding, and a gentle parenting family. We believe in nurturing over anything else. The daycare teachers not only respected our wishes, they would also tell me how he did each day. They log each meal, nap and potty on an app that you can check throughout the day. They also now have live cameras in each room. This was such a comfort starting out. I now rarely even check it, because I know he is in such good care.
One of my biggest fears of leaving my child at daycare was him feeling like he was abandoned each day. I was dreading a day where he would be crying as I left. I am so happy to say that not once has this happened. He loves this place so much, that not one time in almost 1.5 years have I left when he was crying. If he is ever even hesitant or a little clingy in the mornings when I drop him off, the teachers do everything they can to make him feel comfortable. They hold him, sing to him, or distract him with toys. Obviously, I wish I could spend every day with my child but leaving him at Childtime has never felt like a sacrifice. I feel like he is so loved and cared for there. They are so loving and nurturing of a child’s natural curiosity.

My daughter attended Childtime in Eastlake. We had a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Her teachers were very caring and I felt so comfortable leaving my baby there. In particular Ms. Jazmin was an Angel. I would highly recommend this daycare to anyone.
