I have been blessed to have CTC be my home church for over 20 years. Our Pastor, Tyrone P Jones, is a faith-filled, Holy Spirit-led Bible teaching man who is dedicated to his flock & truly loves & serves the people of Yuma.

Visited for the first time today, loved everything about this church. Super friendly and positive environment. Great spread of ages, lots of young families and youth, seniors too. Felt very welcomed and relaxed, a casual group. Kids classes upstairs,
awesome! High level of excellence, and worship was inspiring! I could feel God in the room. I really needed this today. Pastor was a great communicator, loved the message, very clear and encouraging. I would highly recommend this church to anyone! So glad I went! ❤️

The pastor preaches from the word of God with a sense of humility and humor. The worship is Holy Spirit-led and reminds me of the safety found in God's presence. I love this church!
The only caveat is the standoffishness of the congregation. The door people greeted me my first time there, but that was it. I sat behind two people who were talking about someone incorrectly. When it came time to greet each other, I was ignored by both people. It's a bummer to feel not seen by God's people. But it's a lesson for me to keep my eyes on Jesus and not set such high standards for his people, as I am one of them!

I’ve always felt going to church was the right thing to do, but I didn’t always look forward to going until I started attending Church for the City. It is like no other church I have gone to. The people are like family and Pastor Tyrone’s messages are relevant, relatable and straight from the Bible. This church is a wonderful blessing!

So much to be impressed by at CTC! Great worship, great messages, multiple service times, mission work and community service opprotunities, small groups. Church for the City is one of the few that live streams there sermons in Yuma. I'm always impressed with how humble Pastor Tyrone is and how he speaks to current events and encourages the church to take a Biblical response. There is a true heart for God here.
