It's operated by corporation. Would not honor deposit returns made by campers. Was told money would be returned for gate passes but still have yet to receive. Took the fun out of camping. Increase made it impossible for alot of families to stay. Corporations should never own a campground, they don't care about the people and families. It's all about making a buck.

We stayed in a retro camper with a lake view. The lake view was beautiful. However, the camper bed was so thin it was painful to sleep on. Also, our entire camper started smelling like sewage on the second day. The beach was full of so much animal feces it was repulsive. I would not recommend if you have small children. The pool was a clean safe place for the kids. We did appreciate the activities they had available for the weekend. Overall, it is a beautiful camp ground with fun activities, but beach is a huge health safety concern.

No showers for 1200 plus on weekends..not even hot water to wash hands at the only new shower house. / 8 second warm water button In. 3 shower 's...no security at nite. Gates close ot 9 every day..key cards are obsolete...guests parked wherever was open. Kids driving golf carts after dark. Other than that the lakes are great....staff pleasant and courteous...

We had great time, it was a fun campground! Great site right on the lake. Kids enjoyed the inflatables and pool. Wish we had more time to take advantage of more of the amenities offered. Cotton candy lady of Ohio was there- that was a nice added surprise bonus too.
If life vests would have been provided for the lake activities I would have given 5 stars. $10 per life jacket is a little steep, when the inflatables are advertised as included. So if you are planning a trip, bring them- adults too! They did ask everyone to wear them.

Was not overly impressed with the campground. We ended up leaving a day early. Smelled like weed all weekend. There aren't nearly enough restrooms for the campground. The campground is overcrowded and very noisy at all times. Kids at the playground were rude with no parent supervision. Throwing sand at kids and just rude people. The food trucks are a nice touch they bring in. Quiet a few amenities for kids just everything is overcrowded with people. Do not waste any money on their wifi either it does not work 90% of the time. Phone service is very spotty there also.

Awesome campground. Kids always have a good time there. They are laid back and very tentative if you have any questions or concerns. Love the beach area. The kids have so much fun!!
They keep it a very clean campground.
Hoping in the future to buy property to have a summer home. We really LOVE going there. We haven’t been to other campgrounds but few other ppl that has came with us said it’s the best one they have gone to and we will be returning again. We went twice this year and I never want to leave.

Just remember all the money you spend to make memories with family can be taken from you at management at will. No warning, no violations, no write ups. And No recourse to dispute. Almost 6yrs there, with 2 sites, lake and inside. $7000. And because Management was offended from over hearing my son say something she didn't like. She threw him out. 72 hrs to move 6 yrs of stuff. I told her we have never been given a warning, citation nothing. She repeated stated she had the authority to remove at will. My grandbabies loved it there and I lived in park model the whole season. I had to sell my park model, remove a my fifth wheel and leave the place. No only did I not get a prorated refund but the couple who got my park model had to pay a prorated site fee even though the site was paid for the season. I got nothing. And if you try to contact corporate, the phone is directed back to management. I refuse to give them another dime. So good luck in whatever you decide. I have visited over 25+ campground in NE ohio and twin lakes are the only ones with availability, Big red Flag! Remove at will is their way of handling thing. BUT remember in bold, NO REFUNDS. RIP TWIN LAKES

Review based on price to stay ! Water pressure was horrible ! Wasn’t enough flow to run tankless water heater . Had to use tank water with pump . Smelled like weed throughout the campground. Would have been nice to have concrete sites with full hook up for the cost . But we knew the conditions coming in . Lake was fun . It was a fun time at the end of the day though and kids had fun .
