Trying to come up with a unique present AND surprise my sister were both realized today, thanks to Cloud Aviation.
My sister and I have always had a love of vintage aircraft and dreaming of being at the controls, soaring in the clouds.
I booked a Discovery flight after reading positive reviews and speaking to the office staff, who answered any questions I had.
They accommodated a weekday flight and using their website was easy to navigate.
Our pilot was Carter.
Such a joy!
He talked us through his pre flight check, familiarizing us with the instruments, pedals, throttle, and nautical miles needed, etc.
I was so excited both Carter and my sister took off as a team.
His directions were calm and direct, letting my sister glide the plane as we navigated at various altitude changes to avoid other air traffic.
He made several kind comments how good my sister handled the plane, even calling her "a natural". He even took a couple shots of her beaming ear to ear as we flew our way back.
Upon return, Carter presented my sister with a beautiful certificate, complete with frame, and informed her that this flight time would go towards any subsequent training.
I highly recommend the Discovery flight and Cloud Aviation if you're looking for a unique gift, or are simply curious about flying and want a positive experience.

This Friday visited flight school, plan to become a pilot, unfortunately had a very bad experience,the reception is a young man , he was no patient, I asked some questions about class ,he annoyed you ask some questions, and the worst part is he was trying to judge you first, after visit , they send me messages asked if I need asked the 299$ trail class, I said let me think about it, then they turn to very rude,said :So you'd better not sign up. Flight training is not as simple as you think. Oh my goodness, the young man was so mean and rude.

I think some of the teachers in this school are new and born in the 90s. They are not very good people. First of all, they are not polite. Their teaching skills are not very good, too ,Everyone should be careful and choose some experienced and good teachers ,so that can learn quickly and effectively,Otherwise, these young people will just use you as a training ground.
