I don't know the exact location of my assigned Codac office. Came straight from COPE which refused to prescribe me the meds I had from a certified psychiatrist in Phoenix for the past 3 years. I spent over 1 hour during the over the phone enrollment . The next day (you have to call every day for getting a " a that day session", I got a session with a Nurse Practitioner. It was over 1 1/4 hour long and she asked me the exact same questions as the day before. She was so young, way less than 30. She had 2 years of experience. Experience is everything, in any field. She kept looking at books the entire time. She didn't understand the difference between insomnia ( the inability to sleep at all because of mental issues, like being unable to shut down your brain) and a bad sleep experience ( sleep apnea etc...). I am 61 years old and have been around the block. I don't want the "expertise" of a freshman out of college. She told me to go back to my primary physician for a referral to a sleep center. In the meantime, she wondered if she could transfer me to one of her new colleagues who had less than 2 weeks on the job, as she had a full patient load and they had none!!! CODAC has been the caricature of what a private business charges the public system. CODAC is staffed with incompetent folks and needs to be audited.

This place is awful. Their telehealth psychiatrists are especially harmful and rude. One of them did not log our session, and did not refill my antidepressants so I crashed off of them, it was horrible. Their after hours line is a joke. The medical assistance say that they will help, but they don't. I don't recommend this mental health provider. Stay away from CODAC. Cope is pretty awful, too. I miss my old psychiatrist, rip 🙏:'(

If you have abandonment issues , like getting talked down to , like trying to reach for help by waiting on the phone 30 minutes just to get disconnected. If you like your prescriptions to be filled late. If you like getting told “we’ll get back to you “ and then never do. This is the place for you. I would STRONGLY seek another place for mental help. I have just spent from 8 in the morning to 5 pm the time they close to get my prescription that I was told I can’t even get and it is the weekend. I have to be without my medication all weekend and was told to go to the crisis center and then told they hope nothing happens to me because of abruptly stopping my medicine. I feel like no one cares about me here. I feel like I’m a worthless bother for them. I hate being told that “we’re gonna help and get this resolved “ to being abandoned by them. If anything this place has made my anxiety ten times worse. Please I strongly advise you not to go here. I now have to go all weekend without my medication and pray I don’t have a seizure. The only 2 good things about this place is Dr. Essly , and miss cyrstle who works in the front. Those are the only two people who tried helping me. Dr Essly actually cares so if you have to go here I would recommend him.

HORRIBLE. Regardless of location, HORRRRRIIIBBBLLEEEEE!!!! If I could give negative 5 stars I would. Save yourself the pain and go elsewhere. I’ve had 2 doctors here. Both were consistently 15-30 minutes late to virtual appointments. Dr. Harold has rescheduled me probably 5 times & at a point of needing med bridge. Then can’t get a hold of him for over a week. Then he doesn’t even renew the one med I said I really need. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience with this place and it’s ‘psychiatrists’.

referring to the SPEEDWAY CODAC LOCATION. Complacency , miscommunication , caused my son to have a medical/behavioral health crisis that just continued to escalate. Called the CODAC crisis line DEC. 28. A report was taken. Told they would relate this toe the MED. TEAM. NO word. I made many calls t/o the week. no one go to back to me . I called today finally talked to DR. CLARK. No satisfaction, just a lot of excuses. I had to call the CITY CRISIS TEAM TO deal this the escalation of son/s crisis. They were helpful, and I do not believe I will sign a petition at this point to get mandatory help. John has always been compliant , I think CODAC FAILED HIM at is time of need. I think highly of CODAC. WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THEM!

I am giving them one star because I cannot give Codac anything lower. This place is a joke, they act like they care about those with mental illnesses, but when it comes done to it they couldn't care less. Each time, I come in there are new "rules" that they have started to enforce, which makes getting proper help nearly impossible. I honestly think that this business loves messing with peoples lives and well being. I even had a woman, who I wont name, that told me if I killed myself my family would only care for a few days, then they would get over it and forget about me. This was three days after I tried killing myself. They really don't care.

Called Monday. Today is FRIDAY. Need meds refilled and NOBODY called me back all week. I call today and they're closed! On a Friday. Closed. New years eve is tomorrow why do they need to close a day early. Peoples medication should be more of a priority than getting a day off. At LEAST CALL PEOPLE BACK!! This place makes u go through extremes to get things done. Absolutely frustrating and inexcusable.

They had me on 5 different meds.-including seriquel and xanex, I was a mess! Tried to get them to help me find a job, never happened. Tried to get them to help me get a place, that never happened, however I did know people they were helping get apartments and paying their rent and they will still using meth. And anything else they could get a hold of! I asked Dr. Rosin what my diagnosis was, could they test me or something, next thing I know I get a letter saying I was smi- they never did any tests, they said I was bi-polar. I stopped going there and got off all 5 meds. Cold turkey, have not been on any meds. For 2 years now, but man they had me feeling and labeled as crazy! What a racket they are running.
