The team, approach, programming and commitment to helping athletes be the best they can be is outstanding. My son has worked for several years with the team as an athlete focused on soccer. The time period has coincided with his growth cycle and they have kept him acclimating and developing on the field, as well as managing a changing body. I highly suggest engaging the team if you are serious about long term programming and support for athletic success.

My personal training experience with Coach Rob Tracz has been so transformational I am enthusiastically recommending him to all athletes who want to step up their game and those individuals who want to improve their health and fitness. I am very happy with results I have achieved to day which are directly due to Rob’s perfect combination of diverse training methods, truly personalized workouts based on my unique needs, challenging yet achievable goal setting and strong interpersonal skill set.

I signed up stating my fitness goals were good form, injury prevention and weight loss. Seeing great progress and encouraged by Rob’s calm and caring manner, I have continued to stay motivated and consistent. He is a stickler on form and pushes me to physical limits safely. A mobility expert, he can work around or rehab an injury. By placing an emphasis on assessments, Rob continuously updates and redesigns my sessions so I am progressing consistently. An avid reader and good listener, Rob applies his knowledge of positive psychology, mindfulness and good nutrition when coaching.

My challenging workouts have obviously improved my strength and stamina. I was so thrilled to be voted MVP on the dance floor. My son, very impressed, asked “Mom how do you have so much energy and stamina?” With a big smile, I quickly said “Rob and the sled”. I am so happy to experience explosive power in my legs - for the first time e.v.e.r. I discovered this when my new puppy sneakily dashed out the back door at sonic speed to chase after deer and I easily reached him. Also, my upper body strength has greatly improved which makes foam rolling so much easier. I feel I’m aging in reverse and have more confidence and drive to stay healthy. I am so happy I signed up with Combine’s Coach Tracz and intend to continue as it is entirely worth the investment in my fitness and wellbeing.

Rob’s credentials include B.S. in Kinesiology: Fitness Development plus M.S. in Exercise Science and Health Promotion with a concentration in Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS),
Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES),
Level II Certified Speed Specialist (CSS), Functional Movement Specialist (FMS) and Certified Functional Strength Coach (CFSC) all designations assigned by official national associations.

Combine Training in Greenwich, CT is where I got my fitness reboot... in fact a transformation... over this last year.

Hearing great reviews from friends, I bid on and won two personal training sessions Combine donated to a local charity’s Silent Auction event. After two challenging and fun sessions with Coach Rob Tracz, I was hooked and continue to this day. My fitness experience here has far surpassed any other facility. Combine’s mission statement is “we build athletes” and the team of professional coaches offer personal training, triathlete training, school team training and NEW is online training, which I do when I’m away to maintain my fitness level.

Combine’s Instagram celebrates members learning experiences as well as student athletes college acceptances and Triathletes achievements. Combine is owned by homegrown Greenwich High athlete Craig Vitale, a firmer collegiate football player - now active Triathlete - and his wife Christina. Together they have created a supportive friendly culture at Combine and I highly recommend this place.

My son had a session or two here and really enjoyed. People seemed nice. Prices were pretty expensive hence the reason he only had 2 sessions. I suppose it would be fine if my son didn't belong to another gym or if he wasn't already participating in outdoor sports at school.

My son and I tried this facility. Trainers can be nice but for high price provide very little upward trend and feedback. Decide to cut the price in half and just hire a private trainer. Owner not very responsive either.
