My husband and I have been members for 7 years. We love this community because it is diverse, intelligent, creative, welcoming, and caring. I am active on several committees and find my involvement to be very rewarding. We attend services on a regular basis because the rabbi and cantor are inspiring, warm and dedicated. There are so many activities that are educational and fun. We are so grateful that we found this beautiful community!

My husband and I have been members for just under 3 years. We first came by looking to get married and now we can't imagine not being part of this incredible community! We enjoy taking our kid to services too. She loves it! Our Rabbi and Cantor are so generous and put so much heart into everything they do. Services are absolutely beautiful. There are many wonderful events and community activities. And our congregation is so caring and supportive. For architecture lovers, our building, designed by Sol-Lewitt, is an absolute jewel! I really could go on and on, but I will say, we are so glad to be a part of CBSRZ!

I have had the privilege of attending both of my Granddaughters'
Bat Mitzvahs at Congregation Beth Shalom Zedek. They were both so well prepared due to the work of Rabbi Marci Bellows and Cantor Belinda Brennan. I have always enjoyed the services I have been to with my daughter and her family, who are very active members of the the temple. Everyone is very warm and friendly, it feels like home.

I joined CBSRZ this year after moving back to CT. This is a very welcoming congregation that offers so much for people with different interests. The Rabbi and Cantor lead beautiful Shabbat Services. The Arts Cafe and Books and Bagels programs along with the art exhibits have offered so much that you don’t find at many congregations. I am very happy with my decision to join this remarkable congregation.

I’ve been a member for close to 8 years and still feel an incredible sense of peace and wonder when I enter the building. It’s a thriving Jewish community for old and young. It’s inclusive and there’s always something to get involved in. Rabbi Bellows and Cantor Brennan are amazing along with a beautiful choir, the best Temple administrator…I could go on and on. Feels like home.

Amazing house of worship. Rabbi Marci Bellows and Cantor Belinda Brennan are wonderful spiritual leaders. The services are inspiring and filled with beautiful music. The congregation is so welcoming to people of all faiths. The building is beautiful space to worship in. Have been a member since 1997.
