Kol Shofar is a warm, welcoming place to worship. It has a tradition of congregants actively participating in services, not just as spectators. They also offer lots of ways to learn and grow, classes and events. The religious school is excellent and there is strong programming for families.

Welcoming, gifted rabbis who make a palpable, sincere effort (along with many of the long-time congregants that attend regularly) to actively enjoin and include others to be part of a spiritually uplifting, if voluminous community experience. I've been pleasantly surprised by the changes there in the last few years and when I feel the call to community, consider it a beacon of light in an otherwise, more affluent than affable area.

Kol Shofar literally help us raise our four children, giving us an extended family. While I did not grow up with any religion in our home and was pretty Jewishly illiterate, in Kol Shofar I found a place to call home. I found community, friends, love and support Through the years I have learned and my spiritual practices have grown and enriched my life and my family. We are now empty-nesters and I can say firsthand that Kol Shofar has something to offer in every stage of life.
