Not a very formal or professional class that I have experienced in previous CPR recertification courses. If it was my first time taking a CPR class, I would feel underprepared, but since it was simply refreshing my skills, it was adequate (juuust barely, I have done probably 5 CPR classes before as a health professional). The equipment was very old and worn, we did not actually blow into the dummies to ensure correct rescue breaths, and no visual materials were used during presentation, it was just instructor talking. I felt bad for a few people in my class that were new parents seeking practical skills. Facilties do not lend itself to a true CPR class, everyone sat in two rows of chairs without desks, there was not projector or screen, when we practiced at the very end, tables were so small we had to put dummies on floor and get down to do sufficient compressions.
