I provided all the documents she asked for and still got denied. I see now she choose who she wants to help, but that’s OK. You never know when something in your life may happen and you will be the one who needs help. Joyce tried to be rude when I called, but I got her right to let her know she got the right one

Everyone is fine except "Joyce" who answers the local office phone. She hasnt improved any of her customer skills in the almost 2 years I've been with them . She has smart remarks to everything and will talk to you like you're incompetent. Hope she has a better attitude soon!!

Rude as it gets, lady had an attitude as soon as we walked through to get help. I wasn't of ethnicity she was and she made it plain I wasn't getting any help.

The place within its self is amazing for help when you need it. But one of the ladies who answers the phone, Joyce, is absolutely rude and snobby as can be. She’s not helpful when you have questions or concerns. People come to this place for help, sometimes even a crisis, if you’re incapable of having empathy/ sympathy and understanding of their concerns, get a different job. Your job is to help. Not be a prick.

There was a blonde lady at the front so rude and disrespectful. Told us we would get help to bring in all the paperwork so we did then they turned us away very rudely. They were being ready rude to shout of people there. I've never had to have help before my first time but I feel really sorry for someone that has rmto deal with this place very much. Just horrible.

Turned in paperwork for myself (in a wheelchair) and a blind friend. We went in person, was told everything looked good and was filled out great. Been calling for 2 months. Neither of us can get a call back or an answer of why we have not received assistance with our utilities.

Wait was to be expected. I needed heavy help, and they were able to help me immediately, eased my heavy load, mind. And did it with immense kindness, care, understanding, without hesitation. Mrs. Garner and staff, I can not express my gratitude for you and this incredible Council! What you do makes a difference and is truly helpful. My appreciation and respect are immeasurable for you all! Thank you!

Amazing place with the kindest people! They help with utilities seasonally, and with medical bills for seniors ALL year! Ask about their classes, and call ahead to find out what you need for assistance, so that there's no frustration when you get there. They've changed the rules now, you can't email or fax ANYTHING in, you have to have it ALL in hand or they won't even let you get a ticket to get in. They're only doing 50 people a day, and only on Mondays now, but you no longer have to use your regular assistance BEFORE using your crisis assistance! So if you're in crisis they'll help you that day!
