The Cypress Mandela Training Center program changed my son's and several of his close friend's lives. My son was falling, lost and without direction. The leaders at the program introduced him to other leaders and organizations within the community. This is a four month program, but within three months he had acquired skills that made him eligible for a position that started him off at $19 plus an hour with the union (which include benefits). I have observed my son's growth, happiness and confidence bloom during his training with Cypress Mandela. I thank the leaders at Cypress for creating this much needed program to lift our men and women. Please continue your outreach. It is invaluable to saving lives and assisting in creating productive citizens. Also, I give all praise to Christ.

Cypress awakened something in me I forgot I had! I will be forever grateful to this program! I tested into the Surveyors Apprentice Program before graduation and became a Apprentice Surveyor in Local 3 soon after graduation, I was also being recruited into the Inspectors Apprentice program. Everything Cypress promises is true including scrubbing the toilets, haaha! If you want what they are offering, be serious, better yourself and go get it!

This place has changed me for the better threw the rest of my life. This opportunity deals with all of the trades of construction & life lessons. During the 8-16 weeks of training (getting you ready for the field) they have all kinds of speakers and rep's letting you know what there looking for in an employee. Its only a handful of staff but yet you would think its all of earth was behind this program. Mr. Hodges, Mr. Reed, Mr. Watts, Mr. Simmons, & all the Shank brothers volunteer there time to less unfortunate people that just cant get ahead in life. I went there and I'm still currently enrolled and everything I have learned here I apply outside in real day to day life. Once I get back on my feet I do plan to invest my money & time to this organization that help make a beyond change in not only my life but in a WHOLE LOT OF PEOPLES LIFE. Thank you Cypress!
