We have had my daughter at DHCA for 3 years now & have been very pleased with the experience. We decided to move her in 8th grade after 2 terrible years of dealing with bullying at a local public middle school. She enjoys going to school, her classes are smaller allowing for more personalized assistance, & all of the teachers care. The teachers & faculty communicate well with parents & I have been amazed by how many parents are involved in one way or another. I look forward to the next 2.5 years & highly recommend this school to any family looking for a positive atmosphere for their child(ren).

This school is a private Christian college preparatory school. Which means they do everything in their power to see you succeed and allow the Lord do his will in your life. This highschool is very nice and is continually growing with a recently new baseball field and a football field in the future. They have amazing teachers willing to help you if you need it and opportunities for tutors and even designated time to worship in a chapel setting with songs and a message once a week. This highschool prepared me so well I’m English that my college English professor told me if I was not thinking of going to advance my education at a four year college that I should because I was great in English. I took that as her telling me I could be an English major but either way I will continue my education. The main role models I looked up to while I was in school here was The Head Football coach, Coach Meek who is sadly retiring after this year. The other 3 people I looked up to was middle school head coach TJ McGee, Basketball Head Coach Jason Marshall and Basketball Coach Tommy Kyle all of which had an amazing impact on my life. These men help me develop into who I am today and allowed me to advance into a deeper relationship with the Lord than I ever thought I would have had. It is because of them and the Bible class I took while I was here that I have such a Passion for The Lord.

I don't blame the school, I blame the person in charge of the camp. The woman with the last name of Hall is rude, and she should not be allowed to be around these children. The kids had a field trip to the store that I work in today. She tried to micromanage what I was trying to teach the kids, she was rude to my co-workers and myself. I look young, but I'm the manager of the store that I work in and she acted like she was better than I am, or like I owed her something because they came to my store. The children were very well behaved, they listened to what I said, and they were interested in what I had to say. This woman was arrogant, rude, and snotty. She told one child that she couldn't spend more than $10.00 in my store, and she would get time out if she spent more than that. This child was buying things for her family and herself. The kids got a goody bag from us at the end of the field trip and they also go a small treat for them to eat right away, she told the kids that they could not eat the treat right away because they were going to lunch after their time in our store because she was paying for lunch and didn't want them to ruin their appetites...it was a very very small treat. She was rude to the other counselors that were there.

Great school! Great atmosphere to foster learning and give children a more focused education. I like that they can focus on education and not hace to worry about changing things to cater to one person like public schools do.
