I have been going here to visit the animals for years ever since we lived in one of the houses bordering the bovine field. The animals seem very happy and it's wonderful to be able to visit the animals without staff breathing down your neck and keeping an eye on you. There are people there to answer questions and assist, but it feels great to be able to "talk" to the horses and cows without being witnessed as a nutter butter animal nerd. The animals have consistently had good temperaments and I would highly recommend the DOAS for adults and children wanting to visit large animals they might not get to otherwise interact with!
