They completely screwed up my wife's change of name after our marriage, and provided no printout or anything to see that it was entered wrong. They also stated they don't do this service when I called them from the DMV to find out what happened, yet the SSA website has this as a location and I was physically there when it was done.

This organization is corrupt to its very core. You CANNOT trust TCDHS. Avoid interacting with these liars at all cost.

Was given bad information regarding leap and the cutoff date directly from our caseworker (new one Everytime). She told me that they were accepting applications after they had run out of money, a month before. Then when I call to try and get help the receptionist is nothing but obstinate in providing any info other than "we are human and make mistakes" well your mistakes just cost me over 1k in help from leap. You have one job. That's to provide the correct information to the people who need help, not give them false hope and then be totally rude to me as I'm not the one who made the mistake...the receptionist needs to find a new job.

Only word to say is abomination. They neglect their jobs and still keep their jobs, complete joke. Honestly close. to a lawsuit and no one would feel bad, would actually be doing the world a favor.
