I was introduced to this organization after receiving a flyer. I called to schedule a self intake over the phone. Upon arriving, I was greeted with kindness and dignity waited in the lobby for my case management team. I was provided with information about the different programs and opportunities available in my community to assist me as a woman looking to grow forward in my education and employment development. DKA has many resources available and referrals to offer for anyone seeking a new way to rise above with the truth that progress begins where you are presently. I attended this program twice. Both times I gained a lot. And I paid! They helped to address my handicaps in the work place. But mostly they helped me get my life on track and gave me the confidence that comes from being able to support myself. Regardless of my setbacks.

It's pretty SAD that this place hasn't been able to assist someone who can pass a background check and a drug test to secure meaningful employment. Many services are withheld if a client has no wish to sit through three weeks of classes on how to fill out an application and how to create a resume. I already know how to do that!
