We woke up the day after Thanksgiving with no heat. Someone was able to come out that day to get us emergency heat, until the issue could be fixed. He returned at a later date and got everything back to normal, at a lower price than we anticipated. We will continue to use Douglas Heating and Air for any future issues that may arise.

These folks are fantastic. I do not give five star ratings easily. My #1 need in a contractor is the increasingly elusive tri-fecta of (1) Trust, (2) Quality work, and (3) affordability. Joe and the guys check all of these boxes. This modest home owner is happy to have them on call, and they'll do the same for you.

Douglas Heating and Cooling are the best. Our 23 year old A/C froze up when it was 90 degrees out. They came within an hour and we talked about a new system that would be more efficient. My wife and I agreed to have them install a new system. They recharged my current system to keep us cool while they ordered the new system. When it arrived they set up an appointment and had it installed in half a day. Their communication and friendly employees were great. I recommend them to everyone.

AC went out recently with temperatures pushing 90. I didn't know who to use, called my brother and he told me to call Douglas.
I was surprised how quick they showed up and got us up and running. I suspected I knew the issue and had priced it out to do it myself, I was very surprised and pleased with what they charged.
Technician was very nice and professional, our family won't use anyone else!

In March of 2023 Douglas Heating and Cooling replaced a 20 year old hvac system in our house. They were very professional, provided a reasonable quote, recommendations for duct work to make a system more efficient as well as options for a zoning system if interested the future. They install a furnace, evaporator, condenser, humidifier and fixed some duct work in two days. The furnace had a faulty mother board about 6 months after install however, one phone call and they came out and replaced the mother board the same day! Excellent service. Highly recommend!

Douglas Heating and Cooling installed central air in my home and have been out twice to fix problems NOT of their doing.
Their installers are professional, neat, and know "their stuff" quite thoroughly. They welcomed my questions and told me everything I wanted to know and several things I needed to know but didn't know it.
Both service calls were responded to quickly and the problem was not due to their system but to my ignorance or error. I was not charged for the first call and only half price for the second one. I have yet to be invoiced for furnace filters I bought that an employee dropped off. My decision to go with Douglas is feeling like a win/win decision for me.

I've used this company twice now. The first time was to move my condenser unit while a concrete patio was poured. The second time was due to an issue with my thermostat. Both times, the technicians were very knowledgeable and professional. This second time, they took time over the phone to discuss possible causes for my unit not working. Then they fit me into a tight schedule to get it fixed quickly. I'm very grateful for their service!

Awesome experience. Would recommend in a heart beat. Heat advisory last 3 days and our air conditoner went out Friday...another company out on Friday and said they fixed it but they didnt.. They told us twice on Saturday that they would be out but they never showed. Called Douglas this morning and by afternoon our air was working again.....and half the price of the first company. Service tech was very knowledgeable and had great communication. Excellent overall experience and will surely call them back if needed in the future.
