Every time I walk by this place I’m concerned why so many babies are crying & screaming like they are in pain! And it’s not just for a quick minute or so, no, it’s like 15mins and on, just crying. Isn’t anyone caring for them “KinderCARE”? I’ve heard bad stories about this place and as a working parent I would never bring my baby here. If management sees this please take into consideration that maybe the ratio of staff to babies should be looked into or even better check your staff members.

Our family has been part of the KinderCare family for 2 1/2 years. I cannot praise the teachers and staff enough. My son absolutely loves going to school, and has learned so much. The teachers treat him like extended family, and I couldn't ask for a better environment. Ms. Teri works hard to make the center warm and welcoming, and puts in so much time. We are one of the first families to drop off in the morning and she and Ms. Dee are almost always the ones to greet us, with smiles. I appreciate that they are not just baby sitters - the center has a curriculum and my son is constantly learning and experiencing new things. His language exploded early, and they even were able do most of his potty training. The center has had a few leadership changes over the years, but I am happy with the current management. They are ensuring that they have the right people in the classrooms, and do not keep under-performing teachers on staff. They are always busy, but anytime I have ever needed to talk they have been available. We now have two children that attend school, and I couldn't imagine taking them anywhere else.

My daughter (3 years old) has been going to this KinderCare for almost 1.5 years. I would recommend this daycare to anyone. Teri and Dee are amazing, informative and always available for questions. ALL of the teachers are absolutely wonderful. My child has been in 4 different classrooms (moving for age) and has always had a wonderful bond with her teachers. Having a place to leave your child while you are at work that you trust is so important and can be hard to find. Thanks Downtown KinderCare for taking wonderful care of my little one!

1 month into working from home while taking care of my infant daughter, I had to make the difficult decision to send her to daycare in the middle of a pandemic. Shanta at KinderCare gave us a virtual tour of the facility and showed us all the precautions they were taking, and it helped ease my anxiety. Now we are 5 months in, and I have no regrets. I can contribute much of my daughter’s rapid development, good health, and great social skills to the talented, compassionate, and patient caretakers at KinderCare. They’ve not only gone above and beyond in caring for her, they’ve also been a great resource to me as a first-time parent. The photos and notifications I get throughout each day make me feel connected to my baby when I can’t be with her and I know she’s being cared for. My family is so grateful for KinderCare and the amazing people who work there!

My son is 18 months and he started about two months ago. He has anxiety around new people and is definitely scared of new places. After about two weeks of going to this KinderCare, he was comfortable and was super excited to go everyday. The staff is so nice and welcoming. They have an app where they send pictures and videos throughout the day and a report at the end of the day that tells me what he ate and how many diapers were changed. I would recommend them every time

In such uncertain and stressful times, I can't express how thankful I am for this Kindercare. I have sent both my children to this location over several years and have gotten the chance to experience almost every room.
I feel so secure sending my kids there knowing that Shanta and Miss Antoinette are keeping the place clean and safe, and knowing the teachers (Miss Vicky, Miss Chelsea, Miss Meisha, Miss D, Miss Valerie, Miss Bri, Miss Tammy... all of you!) are so loving and fun with my children. After covid started we took a little break from school, but after restarting I have seen such an explosion in learning from my eldest in Miss Meisha's room - he is really blossoming under her teaching. I also cannot say enough about Miss Vicky in the baby room, she is a baby whisperer.
Miss Shanta and Miss Antoinette are very busy keeping the admin side running smoothly (a great undertaking with covid in force), but are also always there with personal interaction with me and my children, showing they are not only keeping the business in tip top shape but also providing a caring environment for all the children there and getting to know them all themselves. And I get daily updates with pictures and videos of both my kids, which is so wonderful to be able to check in on them throughout the day. I have sent messages through the app and I get almost instant replies, which is another positive function of this location - I am always impressed with their communication (they are proactive in their reporting and are also very on top of even the smallest incidents).

I know that it must be very difficult for new parents to send their children to a place they can't go inside right now (because of covid), but I want to help calm any fears; it is sparkling clean, very safe, and so loving. The teachers have so much fun with them and keep a close eye on all of the interactions between the children and are very good at communicating about each child's individual day and overall experience. Miss Shanta has this place running like a dream and I am so happy with our childcare because of her.
These teachers are on the front-line and are doing so much for our kids/families at their own risk. I can't say enough about the entire staff!!

When we first brought my son there the place was great and most of the staff was amazing. My son loved Ms D. He had gone there when he was an infant and then back there from about year and a half to 3.

When he transitioned into the 3year old he stated he did not want to go and saying that he didn’t like the teacher ms Tina and that Tina didn’t like him. We did want him to give it a try as it was a new room etc. our mistake.

He was always sun burned though we had given them sun screen and they swore they put it on him every day. I would sometimes come by about 4:40 in the afternoon (even in the middle of the summer)and they would be outside drinking water and having a snack, still very hot.

Anyway my wife got concerned about what was going on and wanted to move him into another class like he had before. No luck that was going to stay his class.
One morning my wife dropped him off and watched through the fence as the class was rolled or passed the ball by the teacher. My son wasn’t not engaged with and was ignored. My wife gave it 10 minutes then drove back and looked again, same thing. Then left again for another 10 only to find he was still ignored.
She had enough of this and took my son out of that environment that instance.
No one asked why she was taking him away even though we had never done that and we were “like a family” environment.
They called a few days later and asked what happened.

They said that they wanted me to pay the additional 2 weeks since I didn’t give any notice.

If someone is not treating your child like they use to, do you still pay them?

It is important to know with this company that if you are unhappy with how they treat your child in anyway that they want you to give them 2 weeks notice that you are leaving so they can make that little extra.
Like a gym that charges you fees to cancel a membership....

If I had taken him out of here before he turned 3 it would have been a glowing review as they know very well that when people were checking out the school I would always take a few minutes to tell them my son’s and my experiences.

Unfortunately with the experience of the 3yr classroom, I am unable to leave such a glowing review.

If I could give less I would please be careful if you decide to bring your child here, the director Ms Terri is horrible all she seems to care about is money and if you’re on des they treat you like you’re nothing I paid on time every week and she still BULLIED ME imagine being a single mother just trying to drop your child off so you can make it to work on time, she was ALWAYS late and made me late to work so many times I almost lost my job and she didn’t care she told me fix my clock..my clock on MY PHONE like really she’s so awful I was so happy to find another daycare for my baby what kinda “director” talks to a parent like that one morning she was literally yelling at me at 6:10 in the morning and condensely that same morning I come to pick up my 11 month old she has a big scratch on her face I know infants can scratch themselves but she’s never had a scratch on her face that deep. Just think long and hard about taking your child here. You would think they’d be very professional because it’s KINDERCARE but nope not at this location the director ms Terri is honestly the worse I’ve even overheard some of the staff talking about how awful she is DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD HERE I’m warning you. If you do decide to take your child here be ready to deal with Ms Terri she never lets you get a word in and is always over talking you she’s the worse the teachers are AMAZING ! But their boss is something else ! Beware!!!
