I had a fine experience shopping here, but I saw the owner, Eddie, interacting with another lady in a very sleazy way. She had brought her sewing machine in for a repair earlier and was picking it back up now.

Eddie tried to charge her $200 extra because he had also cleaned the machine while repairing it (without asking her). He told her that instead of paying the $200 cleaning fee, he would waive that fee if she just bought a whole new sewing machine instead. He tried to push her towards machines in the $500-$600 range. It turns out it's the woman's daughter who sews, so Eddie tried to guilt-trip her about not supporting her daughter's hobbies enough. Then, he tried to convince her that her daughter could make back the cost of the new machine by selling things she sews. The woman was so uncomfortable, I really wish I had intervened.

I will not be back, and I encourage others to take their business to another store. Needles Studio in Los Altos is wonderful.

A I took my Baby Lock machine to Eddie Quiling Bee in Sunnyvale,Ca. To be send back for repairs. You cannot do this your self because they require you go thur a dealership . I did this I gave him $200.00 dollars to send it to them. I head they got it and would let me know what was wrong but I did not hear anything.I got the call from Eddie that my machine was back but the cost $449.99 so I paid it but all the paperwork I got was like bill you would get any where not showing what was done so I email Baby Lock for a copy of repairs but they said no I am not there customer the dealer is. So now I am trying to decide how I can get my money back and also donot let this happen to any one else. I will not buy any thing from Baby Lock since they donot consider me as a customer. Also donot go to Eddies shop.You cannot trustI him. I hope there not any one else this has happen to. Just to let you know he did not repair my machine and Baby Lock did not charge me any thing for looking at my machine so the money he charge me was only for him to make money.Right now it’s going to be hard for me to trust maybe I just old fashioned that you treat people fairly.Again do not go to his shop this may happen to you

I used to go to Eddie's whenever I needed something when I lived in Sunnyvale. A few weeks ago, I bought a sewing machine from Joann's, which is an ok machine, but definitely NOT up to the project I was doing. I pushed that little machine to well past its limits, and then I was stuck. I called Eddie's to ask about what type of machine I'd need and he was so helpful.
Went in on Friday, bought my "dream machine" (I say dream because I CAN'T BELIEVE what the modern sewing machines can do), and Eddie sat with me, and taught me how to use that machine! For nearly TWO HOURS.
I can't say enough about the quality of their products, knowledge, and customer service. Just outstanding, in every way.
I can't wait to get into this machine and start using it. The learning curve is steep, but I know that if I get stuck, I can go back, and they'll help me.

If you need a serger, sewing/quilting tools or fabric, Eddie's is your place. You will receive one on one customer service from an incredibly knowledgeable owner/operator & his staff. Ask about the quilts on the walls & you'll get an amazing tour of one of the most extensive collections of historical quilts (that alone is worth the trip). Eddie will help you get the right machine for your needs & budget. I have bought 2 Babylock sergers here over the years & my experiences have been wonderful. Go. See. Eddie!!

I bought an accessory here and it really wasn't working right. Even though I came back to the store after the return policy time period expired, they were super helpful and let me exchange the accessory for store credit, which I used to buy a different accessory (the one made by my sewing machine manufacturer). I also purchased machine here, and all is going well so far. Happy sewing!

Eddie was kind and helpful from the very beginning. I was looking for an embroidery machine and he suggested BabyLock.

I am so glad I considered his advice. I researched the unit and it’s perfect for what I need. More importantly, it is better than the machine I initially wanted.

They only allow one person at a time to shop - with a time limit of 15 minutes. They really follow social distancing.

Eddie is sooooo nice and extremely knowledgeable! I was looking for an embroidery machine and found one AND it was on sale on the manufacturer website, AND HE HONORED IT! I am just so happy! I haven’t used my BabyLock embroidery machine yet, but I cannot wait to do so! I’ve been watching so many tutorials on YouTube just to make sure I have a clue before I dive in head first!!!!
