This review claims that my experience with Elite Tutoring Academy was a one out of five stars, but that's completely inaccurate. If I could, I’d give this company zero stars. On the very first day, we took a practice SAT test, and bees started flying out of the ceiling. I, being a normal human being who innocently was not expecting this to happen, jumped. I proceeded to get in trouble by the entire staff and the manager, Jeff. Then, later during this same class the instructor told us we had no homework. So what did I do? NO HOMEWORK. The following week, she claims she never said this and an entire scene was caused, along with an email sent home that I did not do my homework. I explained to my mom what happened and she understood why I did not complete my homework and told me to just complete it for the following week. So, I did. I completed every homework but you know what else I got...A EMAIL HOME. From this point on, I got an email every single week that my homework was not done, when in reality it was. At this point, it was just the manager, Jeff, being petty. I asked my classmates if they were dealing with this problem and, to my surprise, they were not! It was just me and my friend being completely targeted. This was just the start of problems with the manager Jeff. He completely did not know how to interact with employees. With the help of other negative reviews, you can sense his true colors and his inability to act like a mature adult. Attending these classes became a dreadful experience. Each week, I had to go to a pointless meeting with Jeff to discuss my “behavior,” which was completely unnecessary, only necessary for his egotistical self. My SAT score only improved by 120 points—hardly worth the stress or the outrageous cost of the program. If I could get a refund, I’d run with the money and go on a shopping spree. This was truly a terrible experience from start to finish and would highly not recommend.

PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LISTEN TO THE 5 STAR REVIEWS‼️ Students are told to post them in order to receive a pizza party at the end of the course. All I have to say is if you ever want a half decent SAT score to get your child into a competitive institution this is the LAST place you should ever go. I am absolutely furious about the way my daughter and her best friend were treated at this place. Both of them are honors students and have never had a single note sent home for bad behavior. Yet, they were verbally attacked and harassed constantly. The staff would call me for “bad behavior” when there were only two other girls in their class. It’s clear they were targeted and picked on. I had to drive my daughter there once a week because I had already paid for it, but she would cry the entire way, begging me not to bring her. It was heartbreaking to see her so upset. This place was a complete waste of money, especially considering her score barely improved after all that time and effort. They expected these girls to do 6 hours of work a week on top of their extracurricular activities and schoolwork. If even one thing was left incomplete, I’d get a call without fail. This experience was nothing short of a nightmare. The constant harassment and unrealistic expectations made it unbearable for my daughter. I deeply regret ever enrolling her here, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. It was a sad, sad waste of money and time.

This place should not be allowed to operate. My son’s experience with Jeff was a total waste of time and $2500. Jeff convinced me that the only way to get my son ready for the next SAT test that was 5 weeks away was very expensive private one on one tutoring. Not the relatively inexpensive classes that are advertised. Jeff then proceeded to give my son homework to do. Included in this homework was an order to register for the test. Jeff checked all of my son’s assignments except for checking to see that he registered. After 5 weeks of work test day comes and my son can’t take the test. Jeff said it takes a village to raise a child and I told him I paid him, not a village. I demanded a refund and Jeff said I did not deserve one. Do not waste your time or money at this place.

I can’t recommend this tutoring center enough! I honestly don’t believe any of the negative reviews about this place. They helped my daughter with lots of subjects and her grades improved a lot. The owner (Jeff) was very respectful and made sure to check my daughter’s progress and improvement. Can’t thank them enough for all their help!

Amazing SAT prep class! The instructors were knowledgeable and made everything easy to understand. The materials were top-notch, and the practice tests really helped me improve. My score went up significantly, and I feel much more confident now. Highly recommend!
