If I could give Engenius 6 stars, I would! Chelsea specifically tutors my 3rd grade son and her flexibility, kindness, patience and technique with him is incredible. Whether I send in homework to be completed, or just ask her to enrich him with higher level math, she has made him LIKE coming to Engenius, and feel supported there. He is learning to be responsible for his work and drive its completion himself vs me telling him what to do and when. His confidence in math has grown immensely and Chelsea knows when to give him harder math in order to keep him learning and growing.
Ella is also great and tutors my Kinder daughter (5.5yrs). She needed a boost in all areas, specifically reading. I consulted with Mike (Owner) and he created a time 1:1 for her to get some tutoring with Ella. For the last 4-5mo, my daughter has been seeing Ella 1x a week. Her teacher recently shared with me that she is more that soaring in school and wholeheartedly recommends that she move forward to 1st grade. I largely attribute this to Mike's plan for her, and Ella's help. My daughter is more confident in school, voices her opinion, and feels measurable now with her peers. Engenius is great!

Our Engenius math tutor has completely transformed both of my kids views on math. My older child went from “I’m no good at math,” to “Math is my favorite class (and getting an A+).” My younger child went from being bored and frustrated from not being challenged enough in school math, to finally having an outlet to be challenged and engaged again. In only 1 hour per week, the tutor was able to accomplish both of these completely different and personalized goals. On top of that, within a few months, both my kids’ state testing scores each went up 10 percentiles. But the main thing is, neither of them complain about going. Ever. It’s pure gold to see your kids actually ENJOYING math tutoring. I couldn’t be more happy.
Tutoring can sometimes feel a little costly, but I’m getting more than the results I expected here so it feels high value. Thanks Engenius.

If only we found Engenius sooner! My daughter is a junior in high school and struggles with ADHD, she never seemed to enjoy school. After her first 2 years of high school we decided to give tutoring a try. I was amazed that she actually LOVES it! She’s excited to go to her twice weekly sessions and work through her schoolwork with her tutors. Her grades instantly showed improvement. She had an average D test score in math for the past two years and this semester hasn’t received below an A on a single test in math. Her love of school has also improved now that she’s seeing results and able to celebrate her successes. Mike and his team are absolutely amazing and we’re so grateful to be part of the Engenius family!

Hands down, this is the best tutoring center in Willow Glen. We have been sending our daughter to Engenius for math since 6th grade and she has excelled so much that she is on an advanced track and ready to start Calculus. I have so much confidence in the tutors that we are also going to use them for SAT prep and college consulting. Not only are the tutors excellent, but the owner really cares about the students and he is familiar with SJUSD curriculum so he can provide personalized guidance in course selection and college prep. Engenius is worth every penny.

The pace of the group worked well for him, and he had the confidence that he could do what was required each week. We had little to no family drama during this process which you can take credit for! Have been extremely happy with the tutoring services offered for my Kinder going into 1st. She is always looking forward to going to her sessions, and loves showing off what she has learned. They are very patient and warm, but seemingly keeping her on track for the lesson. Her reading and math understanding and work has improved so much!

The time stamp on this email 5/24/22 reminds me how long the road had been since the day we reached out for your help with our daughter Megan Pham's journey on the quest for college. We close this chapter knowing her choice is the best available option in terms of her interest and finance. She will be going to Santa Clara University major in business this Fall.
