My two children started at Essex Kindercare and I cannot say enough great things. Although I can’t remember all of their names, Miss Samantha, Miss Megan, and Miss Alejandra go above and beyond not only making sure I am updated on what my children are doing throughout the day but also ensuring they are engaging in many different learning activities. The direct Jo Anne is always sending out updates on activities, and quick to message back. I’m not sure if my children or myself were more afraid of them attending daycare but I can assure you Jo Anne made sure we were all comfortable and happy. Thank you to the girls at Essex Kindercare for making my children’s day a fun and safe one. Leaving your babies is not easy but this center makes it as uncomplicated as possible <3

We are so glad we chose this learning center for our son (2yo). He is excited to walk in the door everyday and the teachers are kind and compassionate. They develop a real relationship with the kids and are always doing engaging activities that are great for their development. Miss Katie is exceptional and I can see my son’s excitement when he sees her. The staff is communicative throughout the day and sends updates and photos of him so I can see what he’s up to. I highly recommend this center!

I have been very happy with our experience at Essex for our daughter. She has thrived in the Toddler room under the care of Miss Katie. Communication from the facility director Miss Joanne has been top notch. She is very quick to respond to any issues or concerns.

My toddler son has been attending KinderCare center in Essex, CT since June 6, 2024, and it has been an amazing experience for both of us. His teacher’s are awesome and he now does not want to leave when I pick him up. The small group classrooms and the curriculum they provide is full of new activities on a weekly basis. They have events for the children and parents as well, such as therapy dog visits and bicycle day, where they bring their on bikes and protective gear to ride around on the premises (absolutely wonderful!).

The local librarian is a frequent visitor who reads to the class. On separate occasions he brought home a tie-die apron and a painted cape he made himself. I really love and appreciate how they made me comfortable to bring my son with their daily progress reports / photos taken throughout the day on their app.

And I honestly can’t say enough about how the Director JoAnn and Assistant Director Malory are always available to assist with any questions / concerns I may have (which are not too often, because they are that good at providing information firsthand).

I highly recommend and encourage you to take a tour and see firsthand how wonderful the staff is at this KinderCare Center in Essex, CT. ❤️

As a first-time parent finding the right childcare can seem like a daunting task. I am so grateful to have found Essex KinderCare. I have what I affectionately refer to as a "Velcro baby" and the amount of guilt I felt leaving her in the care of others was extremely difficult. All of her teachers have been incredible, kind and welcoming. To my surprise my daughter literally jumps out of my arms to Miss Katie upon arrival. It has been such an awesome experience watching her come out of her shell and get excited to leave the house in the mornings to go see her friends and teachers. She will often beat me to the front door, shoes in hand, and demand for "school" and Miss Katie. She loves to point to Miss Katie's photo when we get to the facility. Since starting with KinderCare in Essex my daughter's language skills have thrived and she often comes home evenings to show me the dances she learned at school, recite the new shapes she has learned, and tell me about how she colored and went outside. Since learning about dinosaurs at school she has become obsessed. The summer programs in particular and program themes have been so much fun. The photos and videos that the staff provide daily are great and it is so nice to see what they are working on throughout the day. The facility is clean and well maintained with age appropriate toys and activities and the staff communication is amazing and allows me to breathe knowing that my daughter is being cared by the kindest people. I know that the teachers at this facility truly care abut my child. Director Miss JoAnn has been incredibly wonderful to our family and I am so happy that we found this facility.

My family and I are so fortunate to have found the KinderCare infant room. The care is unmatched and the attention to detail is so appreciated. They have always accommodated special requests to fit our infants needs and made us aware of anything they notice throughout their day. The room is so fun and active and they take wonderful care of the kids. I've also noticed how they strive for cleanliness and work hard at sanitizing toys and surfaces in the infant environment. The less sick kids the better and they definitely get that memo!

We have nothing but amazing things to say about our little's time at kindercare. Our daughter is always so excited to see her teachers when we drop her off. We get so many pictures everyday. She is always engaged is something stimulating, and different. Communication has been top notch. Our kid really loves spending time with Miss Lindsay and Miss Evelyn. She literally runs herself into their arms. On the off chance that she is with Miss Enisa, she didn't want to leave. I am confident my child is safe, and loved when she is at school.

I love the Essex Kindercare! My two children just started their in October and love their teachers. My oldest is in preschool and both teachers are so warm and welcoming and always up-to-date on my child. My youngest is in the infant toddler program and all the teacher's are so welcoming. They are always on the floor with children and interacting with them. The center director and Assistant Director are always greeting us as we enter and leave the building, ask how we doing at the center and are always available if we need something. I would recommend this daycare to anyone looking for care.
