I believe that this is a pretty good school. I really do love the diversity here and how we are welcomed to be ourselves by letting us wear tattoos and piercings, letting us dye our hair, and what not. Some of the teachers are nice and some of the students are decent. The things that could change are the lines in the morning and the ones at lunch. They can extend lunchtime a little longer and probably add some art and music classes for those who would want to do something with their talents. Multimedia is just the start of it though. Other than that, I would say it is a fairly decent school that I will miss coming to every single day after I graduate.

Honestly, this school is okay. I want to leave, but the benefits from going to this school is keeping me there.
-There is always a fight for something petty and the adults trying to break it up are more likely to get beat up than the students.
-There are NO school books. (The books online are hard to even read, and the passwords to get to the school books are ALWAYS changing)
-The lab coats are understandable to wear, but why wear them when it is hot? I feel that we should only wear them when we are in science classes or just magnet classes.
-It's way too cold. I'm bundling up in the summer.
-The line in the morning is WAY TOO LONG. I am tired of being told it is my fault (as a student) that I am late when I have been personally standing in line for way too long. By the time I get to the front of the line, I am late. Then being told that I am a minute late, I also either have detention or I.S.S after a warning. I feel that it should have a time limit for each act of discipline.
-Students are not really listened to. Considering that we have a "say" in things, they let us talk, but it never makes a difference. It just gets worse in my opinion.
-Classes are way too hard. Teachers either talk way too much or talk way too less. I feel teachers with experience should be able to teach.
-Lunch is way too short. Some people have GYM exactly after eating, which is not good for your body. Then that causes students that take GYM to eat less so they will not be able to get the nutrition they need to be healthy.

I would really like them to fix these problems, but it will probably never happen since it is coming from a student and it will seem like I am complaining. It will probably be blamed on the students that these problems are our fault. Alright, I am done complaining. Please fix this. This is the only way I could put my point out there without being shut down. Thank you.

It is a pretty good school, don’t get me wrong but the people working in the Main Office aren’t the nicest people. They do not communicate with each other. I say this due to the fact that I had to register my sister to the school today. Of course, a parent has to go register their child but my parents work early morning and come home later afternoon. I am home from college and would do anything to help out my parents. My sister called to ask if I can take their place, someone in the office told her yes with a signed letter stating that I can take their place. I go over there, the first thing the lady from the office saw was the letter and said it wasn’t notarized, asked me where’s the stamp. First of all, didn’t even stated that it has to be notarized and second, I asked where can I get that notarized and the lady said “ Look it up”. After that she told me that I needed to make another appointment, but that I couldn’t do it that it has to be a parent anyways. We kind of went back and forth and she didn’t even wanted to make another appointment. She wouldn’t let me do I left, staff in the main office were pretty bad, didn’t even greet me when I came in. Her face was too serious and just seemed like she didn’t want to be in there.

Pay no attention to any of the other reviews, they're either completely outrageous and dramatic or just down right stupid. Fairchild Wheeler is a school for hardworking kids and the courses and work they give challenges you like any school should. It's beautiful and a blessing. No school is perfect, any where you go there will be kids arguing over idiot things but that shouldn't be the problem of this school, just reflects the home environment and parent inability to raise civilized beings. 4 stars because every school needs improvement but they're close to perfection.

The first year I went to the school in 2014-2015, the teachers were competent. After that year, all the competent ones left. I'm transferring to Trumbull High this year because of the lack of competence teachers have at the moment. My most previous (11th grade) english teacher, for example, had us learning the difference between there their and they're, lose and loose, and so on, which were the majority of her final, which she also very incorrectly graded. Another example is my Calculus teacher only being in the room for about 20% of the class time most of the days at school. There are many other negatives I have about the school, but too many to list as it was just that bad...

Meh, food is ok, cookies and fries are decent, but the lines are waaaaaaay to long and the lunch waves are to short. Classes are all right, boring but teach you some stuff. The laptops are mediocre to say the least, claim to be ultra books but can hardly run basic programs, the wifi is also always on the fritz everyday . THE BIGGEST PROBLEM IS THE LABCOATS ! Why do we HAVE to wear them ? uncomfortable, butt-ugly, make you over heat. I could understand it if we were in a science class but why were them to english and math ? The school seems to failing apart, its is only 3 years old and already there is broke tiles, desk, chairs, and the water fountains squirt out about 6 feet time to time, Lastly some of the best teachers left us so i have to give a shout out, shout out one time to my boi PDAWG, my man Jeffery Schafer, shout out to Ms.J, and a big shout out to Hillary taverna, I still want my plate back. ALSO we NEVER EVER go on field trips, when I signed up for this school I was told we will be taking many field trips ( not related to colleges ) but in reality the only field trips are for special classes or students who win the science fair. 3/5 might come again. Class of 17

this school is full of workers that only think about them self. Don't come here I regret it. Some workers do there jobs, but not all. This school would be better if we had better workers

Full of a bunch of edgy teenage nerd memers who think they're clever circlejerking each other all day. Everyone else is okay though, classes are boring as glue but if that's what you're into, go for it.
