Coach Scott Lipow encourages his players to be the best version of themselves both on and off the basketball court. He reminds the boys it's not only about winning the game, but more importantly putting forth their best effort every time they step onto the court. Fierce basketball is a great program. My son has grown tremendously as a individual as well as a team player. Thank you Scott!

Scott and his coaches run a quality program. They focus on individual player improvement as well as team concepts. Our son enjoyed and benefited from playing for the Fierce. Lastly, Scott is organized and excellent at communicating which makes it much easier for the parents!

My sons have done different AAU Programs, but the Fierce has been the best. The quality of coaching has been amazing. This is my second season with the Fierce and both coaches have improved my son's skills while being encouraging and supportive. A lot of these programs aren't run very well and are disorganized, but the Fierce is not. I have a schedule of practices and tournaments at the beginning of the season and then I get weekly reminders! I would definitely recommend the program to any player who loves basketball, wants to get better and wants to have fun.

Scott runs a very well organized program - communication and scheduling are handled very efficiently. The coaching has been great, they really work on developing all of the players individually and as a team. The coaches love the sport and care about the kids, and it shows.

Scott is a fantastic coach with the perfect combination of teaching, discipline and fun. He and his coaches take their role seriously but never forget they are coaching kids and impart basketball as well as life lessons into every season. Any player would be lucky to play for Fierce.

Participation on the team has been nothing but a positive experience, from the excellent coaching, the high level of competition, and the camaraderie of the boys. Scott Lipow creates a positive, exciting experience for the boys, one that allows them to improve as players while promoting the love for the game.

The Fairfield Fierce Basketball Club is everything you should want in a youth sports club. As an organization, I have been so impressed with how they prioritize the important stuff that many other clubs sacrifice in the name of winning. That's not to say that they aren't highly competitive or don't teach skills at a very high level. They are, and they do. Their coaches clearly have a tremendous amount of experience teaching basketball to adolescents, but the difference they make is in the culture they create, centered around sportsmanship and intense competitiveness. I hope this review may be helpful for anyone considering where to send their kid to play basketball, as I find it hard to imagine there being a better club than the Fierce.

Scott's knowledge and passion for the game are always on display. He's committed to the program and the development of his young players, focusing on individual growth as well as team objectives. Perhaps most striking is his ability to effectively blend instruction, encouragement and a bit of tough love to help players up their games. And they have fun!
