Very happy to have discovered this place for my 2 year old. Great place for her to socialize and get her energy out. Also perfect to meet other parents and find out what other places for kids are out there. The teachers and staff are wonderful and so helpful. They offer so much more than just a place for kids like classes for parents to learn how to discipline children in a positive way and soap making classes, etc. I’ve recommended this place to all parents I meet. Both Portola and Excelsior locations are wonderful!

The family connections centers provides me with support in daily life and shares community resources with parents. They offer various educational courses for guiding our children's education and provide spaces for children to interact with teachers at different age stages. Linh and my family absolutely love Family Connection where has many nice, patient and experienced teachers. Linh has been in Family Connection 4 years ago. She loves FC activities likes making cake, creative toys...More over, the FC staffs and teachers are so nice and helpful. They are willing to help parents and students when we need. I highly recommend Family Connection to anyone who is going to enroll after school and summer camp program for their kids.

My Daughter has been coming to the Family Connection since she was two years old. Unfortunately with the pandemic everything had to close and we couldn’t attend anymore. She is now four years old and she has started attending their preschool program which is now reopened. The teachers are awesome as well as the staff. I am grateful that this little school program has restarted. My daughter loves coming here everyday, this will prepare her for kindergarten which is approaching pretty fast. I would totally recommend to anyone seeking a preschool program to check them out.

My son had learned so much and had tremendous encouragement to the area of his best skills as well as to be able to express himself well with other kids like him. He was the only son of ours that time and it was great to have him mingle with his fellow kids in Family Connection as he learned frienship and including--- sharing, understanding differences and caring for others. He had never forgotten Ms. Marisa to whom he learned so much.💚💚💚

I'm living near the center. I joined the Child Parent Drop In Program for my daughter and purchased a five days card. I did not have time to go there regularly. Everytime before I go I have to call the number on the card at 9am to reserve a spot. However, Everytime I called no one picked up the phone. I called from 8: 55 until 9:15. Finally a lady picked up the phone and told me the program was full already. This happened to me several times, and finally I gave up. One day I was playing with my kid in the playground. Another parent told me that there were a group of people joined that program regularly, and the center reserved the spot for them already. It was almost impossible to get the spot although you purchased the tickets.
I was so upset after knowing that. It was wasting my time and my money.
Today morning I was walking around in the neighborhood with my kid. In the center's lobby there are some toys and books for the kids to play. I walked in the lobby and wanted to let my kid to play in the lobby for a couple of minutes. There were other several people sitting on the couch in the lobby, and one was sleeping there. Not long after i came , a lady came out from the office and asked if I were in the
Child Parent Drop In Program, if yes I had to stayed inside the play room, if not I had to leave. I said I couldn't join the program today, but could my kid play here? She said NO.
This place is not friendly at all, and I will never go there anymore.
