I brought in my 1984 Kramer electric guitar for a setup and to have a Floyd Rose Trem Stop added for dives only. Dave is an amazing Luthier here. He knows exactly what he's doing. My Kramer is now playing like a dream. I had taken it to another shop in Solon and lost money due to bad communication and a poor setup on that store's part. Dave at Family Learning Center fabricated a trem stop from scratch and installed it, he performed a perfect setup. The guitar was made with routings in the cavity that made it nearly impossible to do correctly on my own. These folks in Twinsburg demonstrated amazing communication skills, Dave knew exactly what I needed at a fair price. He even knew how to setup a D-Tuna properly. Great, patient teachers who try to keep the learning fun. Very knowledgeable, too. Great staff. Dave Rice is hands down the best luthier you're going to find in the area. He has raised more than one of my basses back from the dead!

I’ve enjoyed taking lessons from this establishment and having my son learn here for several years. Their Luthier/technician Dave Rice is extremely impressive working on my guitars, Matt Kennicutt is a fantastic teacher, very impressed with the thoughtfulness used to approach the lesson, was amazed at how many instruments he could play and offer instruction. Overall I highly recommend you check it out should you or your family/friends be interested in lessons.

My daughter has been taking drum lessons at the Family Learning Center for Music for two years now. The instructors are great! Clearly the goal is to make learning an instrument a fun experience, while continuing to encourage the student to challenge themselves and grow. The live performances that they put together are a great way for the students to build confidence, set goals (learning their favorite songs) and achieve those goals to keep up the drive to practice! I highly recommend!

I go for weekly guitar lessons at this music shop. They truly live up to their name. From the moment I signed up for lessons, I have become a member of their family. In a short time, I really have learned so much. In addition playing an instrument is fun and the excellent instructions focused on me and my learning progression is amazing. Vince and Emily are amazing and addition to learning guitar, I made some new lifetime friends. Highly recommend for musical instruction for quality and great service.

Our son has been taking piano lessons from Family Learning Center for about two years, and we love it. He went from not being able to play or read music, to having a full appreciation and love of the piano. This family run business treats everyone as a member of their family, and they have some of the BEST Music teachers.

The owner helped my daughter pick out a wonderful guitar for her 15th birthday. This is one that she can grow with and eventually head off to college with someday and all for a very reasonable price and quality. We also take lessons here as well. The teachers are creative, fun and so easy to work with. We are extremely happy with the store & staff. They truly provide a great value for families. So glad we found them.
