Not only is this the BEST gym in CT for anyone to be an amateur or pro MMA fighter, it is also the best place for all seeking to take on martial arts. Beginners know that you'll feel very welcome here, and you'll notice your improvement sooner than you think. The coaches here are top notch and the motivation that Nick brings to every class will push you to be your best. They offer diverse classes that are very detailed, and the environment is very friendly. FAA all day!

The energy you feel when walking into FAA CT is totally unexplainable. There's no words.

I've only been going for almost two months...but have already grown so much skill wise, mentally, all while having a great time and making friends. Coming here is the best decision I've made in years.

Nick, Roger, and Stan are awesome coaches and I feel there is a perfect balance and synergy with being able to learn different things from each of them. They're building such well rounded fighters here that are going to continue to dominate and succeed, there's absolutely no doubt in my mind.

Great gym with fantastic coaches and a very diverse group attending each class. The staff offers copious amounts of knowledge and enthusiasm. I would especially recommend this gym for competition interested individuals.

very great gym for all ages, level of experience. this gym has multiple different striking and grappling classes from the hobbies, to professional. very family friendly. clean gym. the coaches and owner are extremely nice and mostly important knowledgeable. this guy made a lot of champions. price is very good, definitely get your bang for you buck with all the different classes. gym has a cage, a bjj, and a bunch of heavy bags. no weights which is kinda a bummer, but has a few fan bikes and treadmills for your cardio which is cool. the bathrooms are clean with a scale which is nice. overall i’d say this academy is awesome. 5 stars from me.

Been going to FAA for a little over two months. The coaching is top tier. Nick is an amazing and motivational coach who is looking to have everyone reach their goals. Everyone there is out to better one another. No matter what your goal, FAA is the place to go.

I'd give six stars if it was an option. I joined FAA about one year ago at 30 years old with no martial arts experience. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable, welcoming but also stern and effective. The culture is fantastic, people are close, root for eachother and work together to improve. Whether you're a fighter in your young 20's or a parent in their 50's there's classes that fit what you're looking for, as long as you're up to the challenge. I only wish I would have joined sooner.

Nick is amazing; Both Roger & Nick are great instructors. Positive atmosphere in the gym at all times. If you are serious about MMA this is the perfect place for you.
