The people here are incredibly dedicated, courteous, kind and friendly.

Marty and the entire staff are so helpful, professional and hardworking and present students with decades of invaluable experience, knowledge and guidance.

What I love most about these folks is that they aren't just there to issue you a guard card and send you on your way; they truly care about seeing you succeed and continue to offer you advice and opportunities so that you can become as successful as possible in the security field.

When taking the Friday guard card class, I recommend arriving at the place 30 minutes early at least and parking on the side street, not in the parking lot.

Also, a great touch is that Marty and the staff provide tamales to the class to enjoy during the first break.

This place is amazing. Let’s start off with the customer service when I called asking questions very polite and welcoming. I went for my exposed firearm, permit Marty and Robert. The instructors were very hands-on helpful made the class fun and showed they mean business at the same time very encouraging and wanted to see us all succeed. I also had to take a PSI test I went for an hour with Marty. He went over the test with a small class, gave me the confidence and pointers too succeed on the test. Highly Recommend

Great company. For training. For anything related with police,security, and general protection training. They have great instructors. I recommend this place for anyone trying to get permits, official training, great service. They have all the gears you need for your liking. Ask for help and details They will help you. It's a small location but still gets the job done. Great training.

First time i renewed my licenses at this place. I love the ambiance. I belive the owners name is marty great guy. Keeps the place lively. People are really helpfull,evryone is busy but helpfull. Honestly wish I could give this place 10 stars. Easily the best security training school in all of Los Angeles county.The material they teach is very practical and useful and they even help you find a job after you’re certified. No other school does that.

Not to mention the The owner of this Academy really is a local hero.

SGT Marty Delgadillo helped me recover over $7,000 in cash and security equipment that was unlawfully and unethically siezed by LAPD. I was given no information by the police on how to recover my property and Mr.Delgadillo walked me through the process for months and even went to court with me. If it wasn’t for him I would’ve lost every dime to my name and I know for a fact I am only one of many Marty has saved from horrible situations.

The receptionist’s Donna and Krystalle really make this place feel like a home and are the soul of the atmosphere.

I could go on and on about how great SO CA Firearms academy is but honestly if you’re considering security work, you should just walk in there and talk to them. They are so polite and will walk you through every step of the process until you are certified by the state.
