I really enjoyed the book store inside the Florence-Lauderdale Public Library. They have several really good book that I purchased for 25 cents - $4. The lady in the bookstore was so nice and friendly. The library is pretty large and the building itself is historic and beautiful. All the employees were nice and helpful and getting a card was easy. The app is a great tool as well. Nice place for the kids to learn and play!

The children's section is amazing. It's so welcoming and fun. My children are loud, and it wasn't a problem!
The staff was also very helpful answering all the questions I had!

Love it! A beautiful building. They have lots of programs for all ages of children. Adult programs and events also. Very nice children's area. Staff is very helpful. Only complaint wish they had a bigger selection of science fiction and fantasy. Also wish they had a bigger selection of e-books online. Overall a great library.

The main issue I have with this library is that the kid's area needs some work. There's not much going on over there. Not much in terms of things for teens as well. Just more of your typical library. Does need some updating

Extremely nice! Large selection of children's books. My granddaughter really enjoyed it. I didn't have time to look at any other books but, we will be going back again.

Beautiful library and well stocked with just about anything you could want. I also really liked their bookstore of used books. They're all in great shape and super affordable.

One of my very favorite places to be. Florence and Lauderdale County have a first rate library. People who helped contribute to the expansive genealogy section should be remembered for their generosity.

Love this library but BEWARE if you check out CD's. They do Not re-new your check out and if you are late on your return it's a dollar a day for each CD. Plus one of the CD's was so scratched up it wouldn't play but they still made me pay a late fee. It would have been nice if they could have sent me a call, text or email that I was over due. Especially since they didn't even tell me that they can not be re-newed.
All in All this is a great library and I will continue visiting.
