We are forever grateful for the guidance and support Lauren offered us in our breast feeding journey. She was consistently available and supportive throughout every and any question or concern we had. From our first visit Lauren made us feel SO much better about our journey and helped us along every step of the way with her expertise and knowledge. She also has a way of making you feel very comfortable and at ease regardless of how stressful it can become. Lauren was incredibly understanding of our stance and wanting to try everything prior to a procedure due to tethering. She was able to pair us with Dr Liz for body work quickly. Lauren was available by message or call whenever I needed and took time to answer all of my questions without judgement. Lauren was consistently supportive when we decided to move forward with the frenectomy and walked us through every step so we were prepared and regularly checked on us - including a home visit the day after to assist with the stretches. We could not have gotten to where we are without her. As a new Mom having her as my sounding board helped me in every step of the journey and she truly put our needs at the forefront of the work. From our baby being unable to latch/transfer milk and losing weight to now breastfeeding comfortably and thriving. We are forever grateful for her help. We are sooo thankful of how far we’ve come and can say with full confidence it would not have happened without the support of Lauren. Every mom should seek the support of a lactation consultant and they would be lucky to work with Lauren!

I cannot recommend Susan enough. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable when treating myself and my son. She was patient and easily adjusted her care to match our needs. She always made me feel comfortable and helped with both breastfeeding and pumping. She was able to see us quickly and help with weight gain with my son along with exercises to help with tongue tie rather than suggesting a procedure which I greatly appreciate. She has been absolutely wonderful to work with.

Susan is extremely knowledgeable and was so helpful throughout our breastfeeding journey! She always made us feel comfortable and was very supportive, especially when we needed guidance through some hard decisions. She is quick to respond if you reach out. I truly don’t know if I would have been able to successfully breastfeed my baby without her help and for that, I am so grateful! I am not sure there is enough stars to accurately represent our experience with Lauren at Forrester Lactation. We started seeing Lauren in December 2024 for our NICU baby’s tongue, cheek, and lip ties, as well as primarily helping with breast feeding. Every visit I was in a very safe space to get all the help I could ever need. I was encouraged and supported through all the highs and lows that came with breast feeding. Every appointment I actually looked forward to! While our journey eventually ended, I couldn’t recommend this business more to anyone looking for lactation support. Lauren, you’re truly an amazing woman, and Theo, and I are so grateful for you!

Navigating the ins and outs of a newborn as a new mom can be challenging and you’re not given much direction when you leave the hospital. Having Lauren & Susan’s support and guidance throughout the first few months of our son’s life made a world of difference in his ability to eat better, gain weight consistently and overall, be a happier baby! I am amazed by the incredible care I received from Susan at Forrester Lactation. As a fellow health professional and mother of 3, I have never witnessed such a thorough and comprehensive evaluation. I knew that I could completely trust Susan because she addressed everything that could possibly be addressed regarding lactation, even concerns that I did not initially mention but that were very helpful to investigate (like my flange fitting—who knew that I had been using the wrong flange size and shape for 4.5 years?). Every session, packed with interventions and information, ended with a plan on how to move forward until the next appointment, and Susan always asked if I was okay with the plan. That really stood out to me—she collaborated with me constantly to make sure we were on the same page and that I was comfortable moving forward.

My favorite moments with Susan were when she would validate my intuition and point out the positives in how my baby and I were interacting. I think as parents, especially of newborns, we question everything and wonder whether we're making the right choices for our babies, and while Susan was honest and forthright with suggestions for strategies to work on she was also so encouraging and uplifting. I left each appointment feeling so capable and happy. I'm so grateful for you Susan! You're a gift to our community.
