Super great staff! Classes and events are put together with a great amount of thought to a well-rounded outcome, making a family bond with real-life strategies and lessons. I can't say enough, and my words speak of the gratitude with amazement of what an art class can do when you have people who care.

So love this non-profit and what they do. Arts+Mentoring=Resilience. Check them out - and if you’re in AZ, donations of $500 per individual or $1k/couple, should qualify for the foster tax program - check with your accountant. It’s amazing to be able to donate and reduce your tax bill. They could use volunteers and donations - Check them out. They really make a difference in the lives of children.

I love this organization! The staff and volunteers always go above and beyond for the children and families they serve. Each connection made is invaluable and brings each child one step closer to resiliency. If I could clone them all and place them in each city in America I would be a happy camper!

“James” or “Jamie” Atkinson, whatever it wants to be called, shouldn’t be allowed to work around children.

Wow, Kelly M.'s review hit the nail right on the head. Ditto to everything she said! As a volunteer, being able to witness the relief and transformation children take away from a Free Arts connection, art project or experience is remarkable. Free Arts has taught me, that troubled kids may have more colors to offer or show us but they all have an innocence that needs building and protecting.

Free Arts depends on outside support so if you aren't able to make the time to donate, support is welcomed and mega appreciated in all form$. Call them up, inquire/suggest/connect them somehow. Every effort counts. Donations go toward your taxes and in some cases, like this year 2015, they can be matched by generous souls. Get on board, add some color to your own story!

An amazing organization to volunteer with! They do great things for abused and at-risk kids around the valley. There are many ways to volunteer with this positive uplifting organization and you do not have to be artsy. They will provide all you need so check out their website.

Until you've actually seen the stress and sadness on these kids faces start to fade when they do these art projects you might not believe it. But the fact that someone cared enough to bring art supplies and participate with them for an hour can really make them feel better by taking their minds off their troubles for a while.
If this time of your life doesn't allow you to give of yourself, consider donating funds. You will receive a dollar for dollar state tax credit. And it will make you feel incredible!!
