Freudigman & Billings is a wonderful place full of incredibly intelligent people who helped me in a variety of academic courses throughout high school, as well as throughout the college admissions process. F&B helped me get my ACT score up 4 points, and more importantly, helped me find the perfect school for me. Initially, I was only interested in one college but F&B helped me explore options that might work well for what I was looking for. Turns out they were spot on! Not only are all of the tutors at F&B incredibly smart, they are also compassionate and kind individuals who always met me where I was in the material in order to help me truly understand (and actually enjoy) the work that I was doing. I would recommend F&B to any student or parent seeking help in any particular classes and in the college process. Worth every penny!

I could not recommend F&B more. Truly a 10/10 experience. I was a student at F&B for several years throughout my schooling. I had various tutors for math and science classes to not only provide additional support but to push me beyond what my school was teaching at the time. All of my tutors tailored their coaching specifically to my needs and really helped me reach my potential in all subjects (in honors and AP classes).

In addition to subject tutors, I went to F&B for college advising and SAT tutoring and truly had the best experience with all staff members. Kim herself was my college advisor and SAT tutor. She, like all of the staff led by her and Trey, tailored my process specifically to me, my goals and my needs. She worked with me weekly (at some points daily) to ensure all of my needs were addressed and goals were achieved. I ended up at my top choice college (after applying ED) and that was in part due to Kim and F&B as a whole for their guidance, tutoring and support during one of the most stressful processes of my life.

Kim and Trey take such a personal interest in their students, and it is so evident through their student retention and track record of helping students reach their potential.

F&B is truly the best! I started using them in 8th grade, and I have been with them ever since. They offer a wide arrange of services that students can use like test prep, college application help, subject specific tutoring, AP test prep, and much more. F&B employees are smart and dedicated tutors who personalize their skills to each student. The staff was flexible in making and changing appointments, and I was even able to meet with tutors over the phone/ video chat! This place is truly the best, and they have amazing snacks 🙂

The older of our two children is a highly passionate person; someone that knew the direction she had planned for her life at a remarkably early age. I think she thought, "If I know what I want, why hire a professional to guide me?" While respecting her passion, we as parents wanted an outside, unbiased view of her dreams, and our concerns. After meeting with Kim Freudigman for one session, we were convinced that great value could be added to this college search process, and couldn't wait to have our daughter get started working with her.

Meeting Kim and the team at Freudigman & Billings (F & B) made it quickly clear that this "college search" process was so much more. F & B helped our daughter broaden her own perspective about college yes- but her experience there became a career and life guidance experience as well.

The counselors and tutors at F & B became laser focused not just on her college search, but on our entire family, ensuring that parents and sibling knew how to help- but equally important- how to disengage. Allowing our daughter to work independently and directly with the F & B team gave her ownership of her future. This resulted in her pursuing her dreams in a larger way, one that would feed her development as a student, a young professional, and adult.

She was guided, mentored, and counseled personally and professionally, and challenged to seek the best for her own experience. Aptitude testing, as just one example, was handled differently at F & B than other counseling firms: Our daughter had strong verbal skills already, so tutoring was directed only at math and science, saving time and money. Her growth in scoring was fantastic, and opened her search to higher ranked schools with better programs in her passion.

The high school years can be fraught with growing pains, separation anxieties (children and adults!) and tensions that can interfere with the primary goal: helping the child find the best academic, social and future tilting college experience for that person. It is in this area where the
F & B team surprised us most. The child got to "drive her own bus" to a successful conclusion, but we as parents seemed to get managed every bit as effectively, leaving the whole family calmer and better off.

Our second child had different challenges, and some families might have concluded that a different path of mentoring was in order. But we were so pleased with our first experience at F & B that we quickly enrolled her as well. Every child is different, their guidance needs as individual as each of them. Our families' second experience with F & B was every bit as positive as the first. Tailored and effective.

Both of our daughters have grown into passionate young professionals, and while some of this may have come naturally, it is without question that their experiences and mentoring at Freudigman & Billings helped shape their lives and careers, well beyond college selection. Highly Recommended.

Their staff is highly knowledgeable and helped enhance their capabilities in many academic subjects. My daughters have had two amazing tutors that understand their learning styles and meet them where they are in terms of challenging their thinking and capabilities. The college planning services are both comprehensive and customizable based on the needs of your student as well as the level of support you can provide as parents. The level of expertise Kim, one of the owners provides is incredible, she is realistic, strategic, candid, and does everything on her part and her staffs to achieve the best possible outcome for your student. Even though the college planning process is stressful, she definitely makes it a lot smoother. Your students are definitely in good hands with F&B!
