Visiting The Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site, Moton Field, Tuskegee , Alabama, you step into history. The spirit of commitment is felt as you listen to the voices of these Heroes witnessing over the decades. You can embrace the dedication and sense of purpose from these men who courageously prepared and persevered in the face of Segregationist policies and jim crow attitudes in the 1940's. By their actions America is a better nation, coming closer to a more perfect union.

My experience is always enjoyable. I grew up in Tuskegee and still live here. But I do not recall being taught anything about the Redtails. But I take evert opportunity to tell people (young and old) about the Redrails. I love visiting and eventually I happened to see one of my old English teachers pictures, as she wS a part of the organization from years ago. I cannot remember her first name but, her last names was Davis.

Visiting the site was very informative on the historical facts related to the Tuskegee Airmen. I learned so much more when I thought I knew a lot. Each visit I see and learn something new. Also, I have given my pledge of $50 toward the Airmen Tags. Will you join me in this effort to recognize the outstanding men and women of the Tuskegee Airmen!

Have been to Tuskegee years ago, before the history had been recorded so well
The airmen truly are part of greatest generation …They flew some of most dangerous missions
I am glad to help in a small way to make sure they get proper recognition ..my Dad was a decorated Navy fighter pilot during WW ll in South Pacific.

I have never been to the museum or met a Tuskegee Airman, but their contribution in WWII and their history is an important part of America that must be preserved and shared from generation to generation, and that is my sole reason for being an annual donor.
