My experience as a new student in Martial Arts has been an amazing experience. My positive experience has certainly been enhanced by the guidance, mode of teaching, and friendly environment that has been created within this Academy. Gabrieles Martial Arts (GMA) is hands down the best Academy in the area for training Jujitsu, Karate and Kickboxing. I trained Tae Kwon Do, and fought competitively, as a teenager and I knew exactly what I was looking for in the summer of 2012 when I found GMA. I was searching for an Academy where my children and I could study the martial arts as an art form, complete with the culture and respect that comes with a true martial art, as well as learning solid, applicable self-defense. I found that in GMA.
There is no other Academy in the area where you can learn from a Jujitsu Black Belt who was trained by the son of the very founder of Gracie Jujitsu, Grand Master Hélio Gracie. Besides the training from a highly skilled Jujitsu and Karate Black Belt who has direct access, and is on speed dial with Royler and Royce Gracie, as well as the Valente Brothers, we have had onsite seminars and private lessons from Royler and Royce Gracie, Gui Valente and various Jujitsu Sport Professors.
The training emphasis at GMA is on real world self-defense, culture, and ethics. The true Jujitsu mindset, as taught by the Grand Master himself, is embraced, taught and followed.
This Academy is not for all those seeking to train in the martial arts. It is not for the person who is looking to compete in the ring or an arena. The focus here is to learn actual street defense, for situations where there are no referees, no rules, simply how to protect yourself and your loved ones. GMA does not instruct students in how to get quick points in a competition, they teach you to defend yourself and those around you. GMA focuses on all aspects of the Arts, not simply kicking, punching and rolling. The 753 Code is part of the curriculum.

Both my son attended this Dojo. The kids started martial arts at this facility. All employees and owner were kind and friendly. They were very direct and went over everything. My oldest wears hearing aides and is autistic and they were amazing with him. They made sure he followed the rules but also spoke with him in a tone he felt comfortable. My youngest son enjoyed this Dojo! He loved all the teacher. Now that we have moved it was so hard finding something like Gabrieles. If you have kids in the area I recommend this facility for martial arts and to learn about discipline and responsibility!

Our 11-year-old daughter absolutely loves her karate classes, and all her very knowledgeable and professional instructors! She has only been with Gabrieles Martial Arts for 6 months now and was so excited to have already achieved her gold belt. They have very flexible class schedules, so you are able to attend the days and times that are convenient for you and your family. The owners, who are always leading the classes, portray the perfect balance between fitness, instilling strict values, respect, and a fun atmosphere!
