Gems Academy is outstanding. We couldn’t have hoped for a better, more nurturing environment for our daughters to grow from babies into little students. Ambrose and her staff have always been wonderful, professional, and communicative. The Academy helps their children thrive socially, academically and artistically- as well being great coaches for parents with milestones like potty training. Gems has become a home away from home for our girls these past few years- and we will miss them. If only we could move the school with us!

Ms. Ambrose is an incredible teacher & a wonderful person. She is very caring & truly invested in nurturing & development of her lil 'gems'! What I appreciate most about Gems is the emphasis Ms. Ambrose places on moral values, kindness, and love along with strong academics.

Ms. Ambrose and her staff hosts various activities that promote children's confidence and creativity. For eg: they have Halloween performance events, summer 'graduation' parties that allow children to showcase their talents and build their self-esteem.

I would highly recommend Gems Academy to anyone seeking a warm and welcoming daycare that will feel like a second home for their child.

GEMS Academy is, simply, the best. Ms Ambrose, the owner and head teacher, is incredible. Our 4-year-old has been at GEMS since age 1, and she loves it. She's learned numbers and letters faster than her friends, she's gained confidence and communication skills, but most importantly she feels loved and cared for every day. The excitement my daughter feels each day at GEMS - from hands-on crafts to science learning and activities - is such a blessing in our lives. GEMs and its helpers go above and beyond to provide a peaceful, loving, learning environment for kids - and they THRIVE there. Ms. Ambrose and her entire family + staff at GEMS Academy create a second home for our kids. We have twins and they both adore Ms. Ambrose and her family. Ms Ambrose have made a remarkable impact on our children's growth and learning journey right from when they were just 18 months old to 5.5 years old. My child has been going to Gems for the last 3+ years and we feel lucky to have found this daycare! Ms. Ambrose is an amazing teacher and a “gem” of a person who genuinely loves the kids. Her home-based daycare provides all the fun/activities that a regular day care would offer (and much more in my opinion!) except in a warm, welcoming place which is like a second home for my kid.

GEMS is the BEST play based preschool EVER!!! We absolutely love the environment Miss Ambrose has created at Gems academy. Our daughter started at Gems 3 years back during the start of the pandemic and we still count our blessings every single day. She has blossomed into a confident, kind, curious, creative girl who loves going to Miss Ambroses's school, is not shy to make new friends, can play and interact with a mixed age group of kids and is excited about all the learning and fun activities they do at the preschool. Miss Amrbrose is a passionate teacher who has incorporated learning in a play based way keeping them engaged and curious while learning loads of new things everyday. The kids here learn how to read, write, do basic arithmetic (add, subtract), public speaking, perform and do musical recitals every year. Miss Ambrose enthusiastically celebrates all the gems kids birthdays, holidays, festivals and the kids have lots of outdoor play and summer fun with great playground setup in their backyard. They have at least two shows in a year where the kids perform for all the parents showcasing their singing/dancing and acting skills. Because of the mixed age group setting the kids learn different social and emotional skills and get opportunity for leading with empathy and kindness with the younger ones. They get to practice some leadership skills as well. Miss Ambrose is very prompt with the updates of the kids day to day activity via brightwheel app and we also get to watch videos of their learning, fun day activities and goofiness of the kids via google photos and videos. We couldn't have asked for a better preschool as wonderful as Gems Academy. Thank you Miss Ambrose we are so grateful to have you !!

Gems Academy is definitely one of the best day care in Bay Area and I feel lucky to have found this out for my daughter. Ms. Ambrose is so dedicated in taking care of children and also very innovative in finding new ways to entertain and teach kids each day. Proper attention is given to their food intake as well, for which I am really thankful to her. Whenever my daughter doesn’t eat well during lunch time she tries feeding her in the evening which is a dedicated care given. Another unique fact about this daycare is that the kids get to play in a very large space with lots of toys and there are many outdoor facilities as well. Ms. Ambrose also gives educational as well as art classes to kids daily. She also gives BrightWheel updates about our child throughout the day and on weekly basis we get to see kid’s videos and photos. My daughter joined Gems academy when she was 13 months old and it’s been close to 2 years now. She enjoys going there and as parents we are also happy and satisfied!

If there was a rating more than 5 I would definitely give it to Gems Academy. My son when he came from India at 2.5 years we have put him in a play school which he attended for almost one year. We dint see any development in him even after a year. He was not at all excited to go to that school. Later we joined him in Gems Academy. He loves to go school everyday. I did see development in my son in just a month. He likes Ms. Ambrose a lot he even asks us to take to her on weekends. Ms. Ambrose is just so warm and welcoming. My son usually don't go near any new person. But he started going to Ms Ambrose the very second day after joining him in Gems Academy. I highly recommend Gems Academy.
