My parents, 2 aunts, and 2 uncles have all lived here. I've also played music for the residents since 2018. I play at other health care centers and this is one of the nicer ones. The staff is always friendly and caring.

I have entertained and ministered to the residents at Genoa Retirement Village for a few years. The activities and life enrichment staff make it easy for me to engage the community and their families. My mother has been with Genoa Retirement Center for about 5weeks. During this time the staff, RNs, Directors, dining staff, maintenance , therapy, All have provided more than 5 star care and warmth for her care . You become Family here . Needs are promptly meet with genuine caring and positive results. Always have activities going on, well planned . Recommended for care of your loved one

My grandma is there now and she is not getting proper care from the nurses. We pay for help with showers and medications and she hasnt had a shower in a week there giving her the wrong medications causing her to have diarihha. The nurse says they can't get to her because shes at the end of the hall and cant get to her.
There are mice in her room. And it's not sanitary at all.

Thank you to all the staff that took such great care of my Grandma! The facility was always cared for as was she! We were always welcomed by the staff and other residents! Highly recommend this home for your loved one!

The staff here is truly amazing. They care for my dad and attend to his needs in a timely manner. The nurses, aides, physical therapists, and speech therapist genuinely care for his well-being, progress and overall health. Everyone is helpful when we have questions or concerns. The food is good too! I would recommend Genoa to anyone.

My dad, Larry Henderson, was at GRV for 80 days. He arrived immobile & was walking with the aid of a walker at his release. The therapists were patient & kindly persistent. The nurses & aides in Hall 300 were attentive & compassionate. The admin staff was helpful navigating insurance & the transition to home. The center has engaging events planned all the time & the food is delicious, too. Our family is forever grateful to this terrific staff for everything they did to support Larry! Thank you!

Horrible place for hospice. Never had enough staff for 1:1 care, had to call patients family in to help care for patients.

Currently calling family for collections while we say goodbye to our grandmother.

Absolutely insane place, do NOT put your loved ones here.
