My sister and several other family members are buried here, and over the years, my mother has called me in distress several times because of how poorly the cemetery is maintained. These are the photos she took most recently, and she said this fallen tree has been there since Christmas. These photos were taken April 12. As you can see, there are muddy tire tracks going right over the graves with no attempt at clean-up—utterly disrespectful. Can you imagine losing a child and then going to visit her grave to find this kind of negligence? My mother is physically disabled and is unable to stoop down to clean up the mess, and since I have a baby and live 9 hours away, it is very difficult for me to get there to help. This is the kind of thing we have been experiencing at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens for years. At one point, their maintenance crew chipped my sister’s grave, and it took years for them to fix it. It is getting to the point that I am considering contacting a lawyer. Don’t bury your loved ones here. The negligence is abhorrent.

My husband and I tragically lost our infant daughter last month. Mara from Glen Haven was amazing during the tragedy of all of this, as well as Tim from Baldwin Fairchild who held the service.
While the hospitals seems to have lacked compassion or urgency for our family during my baby's untimely death, Glen Haven was very supportive and Mara did everything possible to help us have the burial and headstone our daughter needed within our budget. Thank you so much for helping this traumatic situation be less daunting and we will always remember you.

Also the cemetery itself is beautiful. Love all of the butterflies and birds. It feels more like a park or nature trail and it's very peaceful.

(Edit: this is specifically for the Winter Park location near Rollins University and I wasn't sure if there were multiple other locations.)

Everyone we dealt with there was kind and helpful. However, The flower arrangement that was delivered was not placed on the casket prior to our grave side service. I did not notice until the end when I was speaking and when I made mention of it, a worker found them in the chapel.

Ruby was very helpful in marking the maps where to find 6 of my family members. Unfortunately, the areas are poorly marked with much of the signage missing. There is so much deferred maintenance, the place looks awful. There were piles of cement, flowers and trash strewn all over. It was all very depressing. There was one man working on installing a marker but, from the looks of the place, they need to hire more ground maintenance.

I had a meeting with Mara to pick up the deed for my burial plot. I decided to purchase my headstone now. I chose the design, color, and set up payments. Everyone is very knowledgeable and helpful with me while making decisions. There is no pressure to do anything I was not ready for. I highly recommend Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Ask for Mara, you will be glad that you did.
