It took 3 weeks driving up to the school 3 times to give me simple information about how to start my training. The manager is not clear with communication and only told me the instructor canceled after i had arrived at the school on a scheduled flight day, and then it turns out i need TSA clearance.. another school i contacted told me all that over the phone. No sense of organisation at all. The planes look very old, I know that is OK but it is hard to feel any trust towards the whole school.

I paid for my 1st flight class which i was never able to do and I have been trying to get my money back for weeks and he keeps postponing the refund. The manager had no idea what paperwork was needed and wasted so much of my time and now I cannot even get my money back.

Didn't have the best experience. I didn't realize how bad it was until I started training at another facility. The airplanes are really old and many had issues. the instructor Brandon Low was very distracted, often times on his phone while in air, had to repeat questions frequently due to this distraction. The final straw for me was I found some discrepancies in the information he was teaching me. He would write incorrect terms on the white board which I would later use in my groundschool because I trusted that he was correct as he was a CFI. Unfortunately not. I found myself having to re-learn what he taught me. The moral of the story, do your research, trust your gut. don't settle! There are too many CFIs in our area to settle for inexperienced, distracted ones. Hopefully sharing my experience will save you some time and money.
