A Sad day for golf.

As two aspiring golfers, we entered with the hope of being treated with respect and receiving quality information about a set of clubs that we could grow into. Instead, we were met with disrespect, rushed service, and blatant discrimination based on our age and perceived lack of experience. The young man, who was around our age, provided one of the worst sales experiences we’ve ever encountered. His overall attitude was dismissive and made us feel undervalued as customers.

Furthermore, we were rushed through the process and condescendingly advised to purchase equipment on Facebook Marketplace, which clearly insinuated an assumption about our financial means. This experience was not only disappointing but also offensive.

We were hoping for more and have decided to take our business down road. Rarely leave bad reviews, something to think about…

I bought a Titleist golf bag from Golf Galaxy today. I still have my Helix golf bag which is nice, great looking with wheels and pull up cover. The problem is- it is very heavy. While I was looking thru different bags, Ian an associate came to help me. He asked me what kind of bag and the amount that I wanted to spend. Ian showed me my option. Frank helped me adjust the strap and Bo helped me bring my new golf bag to the car. This is the service that I cannot get from online. Everybody is so nice and so helpful.

Love golf Galaxy. I like to be able to see the golf bag, lift it to see how heavy and comfortable I feel with my new golf bag. All of us should give business to the local. Thank you Golf Galaxy.

Went recently for a driver fitting. The tech was very helpful. More impressive, he identified the best solution was an adjustment to my existing club setup and NOT a new shaft and/or club. There was absolutely no pressure to buy a new club. Impressive.

I went in to test some hybrid clubs. I was immediately assisted by Bo. He gave me a bunch of clubs to try and gave me some tips to help make better contact with the ball. He did a great job keeping me around the budget I wanted to spend and I love my new Taylormade Hybrid. Very happy with the help I received from Bo and will be back because of him to get fitted for other clubs. Thanks Bo

This place does club fittings but wouldn't let me demo shafts with my driver head? I guess they wanted me to buy something based off their floor employees recommendation. If I'm going to buy something blind I'd just buy offline. Also, it would have taken 2 days to get the shaft installed. I've heard good things about GolfTec in Westport.
