This review is way over due. Sorry for the wait. My son who was a graduating senior and needed help with the ASVAB test as he suffered from test anxiety (We did not know that was a thing?). We contacted Good Hope Tutoring Services after reaching out to private tutors and other learning centers for help. All was MONEY WASTED!!! With the other tutors, when my son went back to take the ASVAB his score decreased twice. So we contacted Good Hope. When we spoke to Mrs. Brown she was very patient and understanding of his needs. Even helped with my son's test taking anxiety. After 3 months of tutoring he took the ASVAB test. His score increased significantly so much so that there was some indication that he may have not been honest when taking the test. (How do you cheat on a ASVAB?) So he was asked to take it again. The next time his score was even higher and that was the one he used to enter the military. Initially the tutoring sessions were face to face however after a few sessions they switched to zoom. I was very reluctant but decided to give it a try. It worked out wonderfully. His instructor was very knowledgeable. I am so mad that I wasted my money on those other tutoring services. Good Hope Tutoring was a joy to work with!

If I could give more stars I would! Good Hope tutoring and Mrs. Orisha are fantastic!! She is a great tutor who is extremely patient. I was looking for ASVAB help and Mrs. Orisha assisted me every step of the way. She has very flexible tutor sessions hours as I am not local and live in California. Good Hope Tutor services we’re able to make a schedule that worked for pacific standard time! Further, Mrs. Orisha is extremely knowledgeable and reliable. She was always very patient regarding my level of understand and made sure I left each session with a better understanding and questions to practice. We used Good Hope Tutoring to supplement our son's education while he was attending school virtually. It was the best decision we made! Kevonn was his instructor and he blended homework help with practical learning solutions and a game or two, to keep our ten year old engaged and learning. My experience using Good Hope Tutoring has been wonderful. The ease of communication, and scheduling has made the process fairly seamless. My daughter’s tutor, Kristin, is absolutely amazing! She is warm, welcoming, engaging, and gives great educational instruction while making it fun for my daughter. Kristin is also an effective communicator and shares detailed feedback regularly. I am happy with the progress that I have witnessed in my daughter’s reading and reading comprehension skills since receiving tutoring lessons with Kristin.
