Beautiful calm environment. Im new to yoga and Carolyn Tracy has made me begin to fall in love with it! My eyes are opening to the amazing benefit it can have on my body and mind. I'm working at slowing my mind and life down to a manageable pace and to be more centered. I am finding yoga is helping me to reach this goal. ?

Very cool. Studio looks like an old barn built from lumber recycled from the Gold Rush, which it is. Somehow that instills a feeling of peace and permanence, like a mossy old garden Buddha, just 50 yds and a million light years from the touristy cacophony of Main Street, Murphys.
The old wood floor creaks a welcome you would never find in a concrete and glass fitness club. The candlelight lit evening classes make you wish PG&E would cut power more often. And after class you're just a short walk from about a dozen tasting rooms and some of the finest restaurants in the Sierra foothills.
There are some compromises. Parking can be a challenge, so ask for advice before you go. Many of us leave our vehicles in the church parking lot a block away.
And there is no locker room for changing clothes, so unless you want to compete for time in the single shared rest room next door, life is simplified if you arrive wearing what you plan to wear for class. Murphys is a casual town where venture capatilists, winemakers, and cannabis growers meet, so Lululemons and a sweatshirt are considered high fashion on the town.
Just in case it doesn't show, I love this place!
