My mom was just there for a short while, but the nurses and staff were very caring and professional. Kim, Crystal and Danielle were very compassionate and involved with my mom’s care. Kim went above and beyond to help my mom when I couldn’t be there. A big , sincere thank you to the nurses and staff at Good Shepherd.

Everyone was helpful and friendly. The nursing staff was professional and efficient. I can't think of any other place that I would trust my mom with. Danielle is amazing! It was clean, neat, and they are dealing with covid very well.

If you are looking for a nursing home for your loved one that actually CARES for you like your family would, look no further. Good Shepherd Home's compassionate care is second to none. They have been caring for my Grandmother for over 2 years now and they do excellent work. The staff treat my Grandma like she is family and you can tell that they truly care. I would recommend that anyone looking for a nursing home consider Good Shepherd Home first.

At one time I thought Good Shepherd nursing home was the best in Fostoria, I've since had second thoughts. We recently visited a friend and was appalled at the condition of her as well as her room. She is only given a shower once a week, which is totally unacceptable. Her room had not been cleaned in what appeared to be a few months anyway. She told me that they have never came in to clean her room. When we visited she was still in her night clothes at 12 noon, and was waiting to be put in her chair and taken to lunch which is 11:30. The staff is very uncaring as no one came in to check on her the entire time we were there, which was close to an hour. I would definitely look to another Nursing home for someone I cared about, It's truly sad to see such conditions considering the money you pay to stay there. And this is supposed to be a "good christian living"? I think Jesus, along with his father, would not be happy seeing what I saw.

My favorite nursing home around the Tiffin area. I am a STNA who has been kinda job hoping the last 2-3 years, so I kinda have some added perspective. Every nursing home is subject to change each year
(results may vary) but this home was/is working for me as an employee in the 2018-2019 time frame.

I like the layout of the home, the style. I think it is like all one floor and shaped in a half circle horse shoe format. The employee meals are really good because they have food ready for you buffet restaurant style on the side of the cook kitchen. They also have these expensive message chairs that residents and staff (on break) can use. I feel like I was treated really well here, but needed a break after awhile. I would rather only work like 6 months out of the year and just chillax the rest.

Tried to make a sales call here and had the Director hang up on me without any particular reason. I guess all those Christian values are only for paying customers.

You will pay more to stay here since they don't want to add energy efficient devices. If you are a good steward of energy, you probably are watching the other details as well.
