This is regrettably one of the bigger goodwills in the area, the regret coming in the form of how much you're expected to pay for items which is the highest in the area as far as thrift stores go. It's an option of last resort, and there's better options.

I've been coming here for years, and I really want to give a higher rating but there are somethings that just don't change. Alot of the product on the floor is filthy. For example I've come across books torn or stained and sometimes they are priced to high for being damaged. Shouldn't be on the floor anyways. VHS and dvd cases are typically dirty, busted, or missing the disc. If it's coated in dirt why try to sell it? The shelves have gotten better but some shelves things are just thrown on and is discouraging to go through because you don't want to break anything. The stickers 90% of the time on the books or vhs tapes ruin the cover. I do not shop for clothes but I have witness employees taking the color tag of the day of the rack the same day. Why take the product you are advertising for a sale off the floor same day?

PROS: cheaper then the other thirt stores in Branford.

This place has become a joke. I'm seeing prices higher there than on Amazon and this is for peoples used items. I mean, how is this helping people? An old desk lamp for $9.99? I can literally buy the same item brand new on Amazon for $7.99. Things are supposed to be dirt cheap for people and they've turned it into a money making scheme. It's sad. Thank for nothing. I will no longer donate to Goodwill.

Very heavily picked over location.
The aisles were a mess, purses over the floor, definitely understaffed
Parking lot is shared with other businesses
Some areas of the store was completely trashed.
Good luck finding anything.

I never write reviews but I’m thoroughly disgusted by witnessing employees pulling all the color of the week tags off the racks and hauling them to the back. I went in early this am (Saturday) and watched it happen. Ironically as this is happening, the Ad on the speakers was advertising the color of the week being half off - yeah, actually it’s not, seeing how they hide it all away. This is wrong on so many levels. Fraudulent really. For a full profit business, this is just next level greed. This is just one of the racks.
