This is an outstanding place to learn and train jiu jitsu. The instructor, Paul, is quite knowledgeable & personable, and his classes & curriculum are designed in order for the student to be able to speedily acquire and execute jiu jitsu techniques for self-defense purposes, as one could encounter in everyday life. Furthermore, Paul teaches well, he ensures that each student learns & demonstrates the fundamentals of each of the techniques, and he fosters a training environment that is friendly, competitive, and motivating.

All I can say is WOW! The free trial option is awesome so you can test it out and see how you feel with no commitment. My son started taking classes here about 2 weeks ago and he LOVES it and so do I as a parent. The atmosphere is so welcoming and supportive, from the staff, the more experienced kids helping the ones that just started, even the other parents that you are sitting with during class! Paul was SO informative and spent the better part of 30 minutes talking with me and answering my questions when I randomly stopped by for more info one day. Even though my son is at the beginning of his jiu jitsu journey Paul makes every kid feel empowered and confident during each class that my son can't wait for the next one. Really can't say enough good things and we have no regrets about coming here!

My girls are brand new to Jiu Jitsu but feel so comfortable at Gracie. They’re learning skills every class and I feel so good knowing they will be able to defend themselves if the need arises. I’m so glad we found this class. The owner/instructor is so kind and really cares about the students and it shows!

My kids absolutely love Gracie jiu-Jitsu Jitsu Athens! They haven't stopped talking about it since they started and they can't wait to show their friends what they have learned. My middle son has ADHD and it helps him focus and get his energy out and my youngest has autism and loves to analyze everything about the techniques he learns. I also love that it is teaching my daughter how to defend herself and grow their confidence. Great investment! Can't wait to see you there!

Just started training here a few months ago. So far the gym has been great. Its clean, the instruction from Paul is enthusiastic and he's there if you have additional questions or need special help on a technique. Everyone that I've trained with here has been friendly and careful not to hurt anyone and I think that's important. I think I'll be going here for a while....
