I visit granite bay this Sabbath, I would've gave five star, but the regular members were not friendly. I did meet a nice lady she wasn't even a member, she was very friendly. Pastor Ross did greet me after services and I also greeted Pastor Doug, one of the members when I was talking to Pastor Doug interrupted the conversation, all I was doing was saying hi. But I enjoyed the church services. I hope when I attend next time the regular members more friendly.

2nd time here in 19 years. Visited around 2005 when it was at a different location. This place is a beautiful physical sanctuary. The congregation seems well doctrined. Members seemed polite and upright. People definitely wear semi to casual attire. The doctrines, about seeing the unseen spiritual world lead by Doug Batchelor. He posted a heading on Facebook about it encouraged me to attend. I am a protestant non denomination Christian so their practices and theology are different to mine. They are very health conscious which is good regarding diet etc. And put healthy emphasis on raising up good and strong children.

I like it here. Gorgeous building and facilities. Lovely people and pastors. It's just so big and it's hard to make lasting connections with there being so many people that visit

Absolutely beautiful church that has thought of all key elements. Very large parking lot, giant auditorium with comfortable seats, and dedicated family rooms for those with small children. They've got 4 dedicated cameras for recording and Livestreaming the service for other members. The service is very much on time and follows a set time schedule. Very happy with their organization and appreciate the level of detail in their design. Great for all families. Bulletin has all upcoming events listed for young adults, families, and children.

I went to attend a HS graduation ceremony and decided at one point to go check out the main chapel area, which I've attended only two services before because I live in Colfax... But the reason I wanted to check it out was really because of the 10' concert Grand Yamaha piano!!

All of the doors were locked except for one... So I let myself in and opened the piano... Naughty, perhaps, but I'm very respectful of things in an obsessive compulsive way! (I've been diagnosed with OCD, lol)

But let me tell you!! That piano is the finest piano I've ever played on!! It was so rejuvenating for me as last year I had a widowmaker heart attack and subsequent quadruple bypass surgery at age 53 and my newfound confusion has been depressing for me. It just picked up my mood, completely, and my improvisation was heavenly!!

I used to have permission at Sacramento's Capital Christian Church to play on THEIR Yamaha concert Grand at night while the cleaning crew worked away in different areas, never in the chapel when I was playing, so that was really cool. It really did pick up my mood back then, and this was the same feeling I had years ago at Capital C.

I live in Colfax now, and can't really drive out to the church to "sneak in" to play on it, but I wish I could!! I'd even contemplate asking Mr. Doug Bachelor for permission!!

My point that I haven't made yet is... I don't know if it was just the piano experience and how beautifully I played that night, but something beautiful came over me that night. A renewed feeling of hope. It's a day later now, and I'm still feeling it. That's not so usual for me. I have really suffered from Combat PTSD and over a year ago my fiance of 5 long, confusing years betrayed me and tried to hurt me deeply. Well, she actually succeeded, because that's why I had a heart attack 9 months later.,. But I really needed the emotional healing that playing on that magnificent piano afforded me.

It was surreal. I wish I had recorded it!

After the graduation ceremony I took my Pops into the sanctuary to have a listen and he couldn't believe how beautiful the tone and depth of the sounds it created. It was the most beautiful hour or so that I've experienced in years.

I fell in love with this church last year when I heard Doug preach, but I really consummated my feelings about it that night. (I hope that didn't sound too creepy!! Lol)

A wonderful church with wonderful people, and most importantly...
The most AWESOME piano this side of Sacramento!!

I think this piano and CC's piano must be the same class of concert Grand pianos...

Anyway, everyone always feels very welcome in this church, and I hope I can spend some more time here in the future!! (Mostly when nobody is there!! ?)

Here's a picture I took of my friends, (Heather, the graduate) and her family. I'm sure they won't mind me sharing!! Again, beautiful people and a church school that produces more beautiful people!!

God bless this church and its mission to speak and spread the truth!!
