Naomi is seriously the best! I chose her for my CCW renewal with Kern county because I had seen her teach a USCCA class, and she had a very friendly demeanor. I remember her saying she'd have me shooting head shots within an hour.

Her teaching is spectacular! She makes it really easy to understand your weapon. We went over grip, accuracy, and shot follow-through, all which were extremely helpful. I was able to practice and implement the tips she showed me after my CCW qualifications, and my shooting was better than it's ever been! Extremely simple tips but they made a huge difference.

She took her time with us, all her corrections felt helpful and not critical, and she was able to explain herself very clearly and concise. I was able to follow her lead easily with no pressure.

Definitely using her again in the future!

I took a 2-day CCW Instructor class with Naomi in April 2023. She is a great instructor with a wealth of knowledge. I liked that she used real stories added in with the USCCA presentation to make it more personal and easier to understand. I learned that I am not just a read to learn person, so a lot of hands on was nice and made the lessons stick. As we were all doing our teaching part of the lesson, she had little add-ons that helped us learn how to round out our lesson plans for the future. She made sure everyone got what she was teaching before moving on, which in turn showed the other students what they could do in that situation while teaching.

I took a USCCA firearms instructor class with Naomi the last two days and it was phenomenal! Naomi is such an engaging and knowledgeable instructor. There was not one moment of time during the two days when we were not digging into the material, learning and have a very engaging learning experience. I highly recommend her. I took a 2 day course with Greenhorn in mid November and in my opinion it was the best decision in terms of instructor. Aside from the curriculum, Naomi shared her personal insight which stems from the years of experience she has teaching as well as the multiple hours she spent perfecting her craft. If any other opportunity arises to take one of her courses, I will most definitely be doing so.

I took a USCCA Firearms Instructors 2 day course to be able to teach Basic Handgun, CCW, and home defense. Instructor Naomi Moss from Greenhorn outfitters was my counselor.

Instructor Moss demonstrated knowledge in what she was teaching, she does not only teach it to you, she ensures you value your training. She is passionate about the industry and is there to support you. We need more people like her in the industry.

Class room environment was not intimidating. She was very welcoming. Her class I very engaging, there was never a really moment where you weren't involved.

Block of instructions was clear and precise.

Demonstrated understanding of how to run a safe range.

All around great Naomi is a great person.

I took the 2-day USSCA Instructor class with Naomi last week in Yolo County. It was OUTSTANDING.

Her knowledge of the material was very thorough, her presentation was truly professional and totally engaging, and her passion for sharing it all was just really great to experience.

I retired from 25 years in Law Enforcement; 21 of those as a Firearms Instructor for regular sworn and SWAT, 20 as a DT/H2H, Taser, Baton, and Crowd Control Instructor, 14 on SWAT, also teach BSIS Firearm/Baton for the State of CA, CCW for several agencies, as well as contract teach for 2 other internationally-recognized Firearms/Tactical/Use of Force Training Companies with DoD and international contracts.

I share my experience and credentials so folks will understand that I have trained with a LOT of people from the competition world, top Law Enforcement agencies, and with members of Tier 1 Military Special Operations Units from all over the world. And there were quite a few I would NOT train with again.

But I would GLADLY take more classes from (or with) Naomi Moss and Greenhorn Outfitters.

Just got my USCCA instructor cert from Naomi and I thoroughly enjoyed the class and learned a ton. She’s super detailed with her knowledge and methodology, and very focused on all the nuances of firearms that most people don’t know and most instructors don’t touch on. Definitely not an average instructor.
