Gina and her team were our guiding light navigating a very difficult process. Her unwavering support and exceptional knowledge gave us a clear path to a successful college admission story and I do truly believe without her help it would have been stressful and overwhelming. As a parent, the stress of making sure my son got into the college of his dreams and making sure that he systematically did the necessary work to achieve success was overwhelming. When we came to Growing Minds, arguments were happening daily and our family's stress level was at a 10. From our first meeting with Milly (which was hard to convince my son to attend) we all felt like Growing Minds was a perfect fit and the stress level dropped to a two. I can't stress enough how this simple choice fixed certain dynamics in our home that were associated with my wife and I's policing my son's study habits and college application efforts. At Growing Minds, your child becomes the race car driver and Growing Minds assigns him a pit crew of tutors to make sure that success is achieved. They definitely walk the talk and deliver results. They are not the cheapest option but, in retrospect, if I factor in the scholarships that are now being offered to my son plus the reduced cost per credit of all of the college credits that my son earned with Growing Mind's help, I have 100% come out on top. If I add in the peace and happiness that was injected back into my home, I think I made money using them. Now, after over a year of consistent work, my son has already been admitted to 5 of his schools and received 3 academic scholarships (one was a Regents) to help him attend. He got into the University of Michigan which is currently ranked #14 and we are still waiting to see how he fares at UCLA and a few others before making a final decision.

Growing Minds was a great experience for both of my high school kids when looking for guidance and expertise in the college application process. Gina is the consummate professional but some how brings a light-heartedness to each session with us, alleviating much of the stress and anxiety. In addition, Gina has a talent of “packaging” the student by understanding his/her skill set and tailoring the HS curriculum and extracurricular activities to present the applicant in the best light. To this end, both of my students got into their dream colleges with single digit acceptance rates. I firmly believe that Growing Minds was the difference maker.

I was recommended to to have a consultation with Growing Minds when my son was in the 11th grade. We were starting to apply to colleges and I felt helpless and my anxiety was growing with the counselor he had. I felt we needed to see someone who really understood my son and would give us the best direction, advice and guidance while beginning this stressful college application journey. After my consultation with Milly Roseman, my family felt motivated and optimistic for the first time. Milly was able to understand my son in one session and gave him the confidence he desperately needed. During his junior and senior years, we were exposed to the amazing resources at Growing Minds. Milly paired my son with a tutor to help prep him for AP's and his SAT. Emily would reach out regularly to ensure we met deadlines and Betsey would call me when we needed to see Milly or just to see how we were doing. Growing Minds was there in every aspect of this crazy college journey and there is no way my family could have survived it with out them. My son was accepted to over 11 schools, including his dream school and I have no doubt in the role Milly and Growing Minds had in this HUGE accomplishment.
