Very cool and modern museum. Lots of history. Only took maybe 30 minutes to do the whole thing and it was free. 2 sweet ladies gave my kids a treasure hunt type thing for them to do while I browsed around. Will definitely be back. Also have nice Guntersville books for sale for $12.

We love to learn the history of the town we're staying in when we travel. The Guntersville Museum didn't disappoint! The women that we spoke to were very friendly and it's free to check out. There was so much to see and learn about and even the building itself was just really cool. We spent about an hour and a half here. It was very informative. It looks like they may change the exhibits out often also, so we will definitely go back and see it again.

Very simple, but beautiful and detailed. My 6 kids ages 4-11 lost interest pretty quickly but it was still very enjoyable. My only issue was trying to get in. The main door is the entrance away from all parking facing the library. The opposite door had a doorbell but we didn't know someone was coming with the timeframe it took (the employee was walking from the main entrance).

It was bigger than I expected, quite recommend it since it's free as well. And not busy at all. I liked it!

Great experience with lots of history on Guntersville, native Americans, art exhibit and other rotating exhibits. Even my 10 year old enjoyed it, mostly the rock exhibit.

This is a very good local museum with a variety of exhibits: mineralogy, ornithology, archeology, and local history. The docents are very eager to be of assistance. I almost omitted how interesting the building itself is. Well worth a visit.
