Scam, you'll get all the way to the end only to realize you won't have enough to finish. I have 150 credits. Needed 180 to finish. But now I'm stuck with 60000+ in student loans. I worked really hard to obtain my degree and you could see when my worked declined when I found out I wasn't gonna have enough to finish. Even with financial aid and my advisor encouraging me to continue. Why continue to rack up a bill and not get my degree in return Now I can't sign up anywhere to continue because I'm to my limit in loans. All that hard work for nothing but in so much debt I'm drowning. What a waste! DONT GO HERE

Let me start off by saying I was Student Ambassador.. I was excelling in my classes and all my instructors knew how serious I was about my education and about how I am still dedicated to my education. I left Gurnick in Mod 3 due to 1) Very complicated pregnancy 2) Failing my remediation exams. I was told I had up to 4 years to return and finish out the rest of my LVN program. Little did I know I would be blown off. With no response back! I decided to go back to school and first thing I decided is Gurnick! I thought to myself “I have 6 months left. I know I can do this my old instructors will support me” So I started the re-enrollment process and had a phone interview with Ms. Tejeda (who is great) but little to say that the interview was of waste of time. It felt like it was a job interview. After the interview there was no response back at all. Absolutely nothing. So here I am. Finding myself nowhere with this process.
When I started the teachers knew nothing about ATI. Nothing about what could help us go to the next level but I surpasses it and showed how dedicated and focused I was. I feel disrespected at the fact I got no response. Forcing me to pursue my education elsewhere..
I am at disbelief how quickly a school, a place of education can blow you off.

This has to be the most unprofessional school I have ever attended. The “leadership” or “administration” is rude, always trying to belittle, and do not talk to any students with any type of respect and not at all worried about the best interest of the students. Financial aid representative is also the absolute WORST and will “lose” your paper work. If you have the time I would look into better options and take your time doing your research and/or reading the reviews. The only positive experience I’ve had was with Mrs. Tejeda and in clinicals those are the only instructors that will do anything in their power to help you and want you to get through nursing school.

I think people like to complain. Sorry, but no one said nursing school was easy. Can there be improvements? Yes of course. There are definitely things that I don’t like, but I came here to get my RN license, and they are providing me with the resources & clinicals to do so. I am a few weeks away from finishing the RN program. All of my teachers have been incredible and have so much knowledge to share. Have I had instructors that weren’t the best teachers? Yes, but you’ll get that anywhere. That’s something you will have to deal with anywhere you go. Talk to any other nursing student in ANY other program, I guarantee you they will have a list of complaints. No nursing program is perfect, even the best of the best. You have to weigh your pros and cons. For me Gurnicks biggest pro was how quick and accelerated it is, I’ll deal with a rude front desk lady if that means I get my RN license quicker. Our clinicals were great. We’ve got to explore almost all the departments between CRMC, CCMC, and SAMC and many students have been offered jobs DURING clinicals. I have friends in other nursing programs and definitely feel as though I had the most & best clinical experiences. If you’re looking for a “fun” college experience with extra curricular activities/clubs, then Gurnick isn’t it for you. But if you are just wanting to get in & out, are willing to work hard, and are looking for a program that will get you to where you need to be and give you the hands on experience you need to be an RN, then I’d say give Gurnick a try. I truly don’t understand why these reviews are so bad. People love to complain lol

I attended this school, do to the fact that my friend graduated from here 4 years ago. I knew it was going to be hard and quit my job to set and manage my time, but Little did I know how unorganized they were and they speak so highly of providing us with proper tools, no tutoring is provided, instructors can barely make enough time for you after class. We were introduced to ATI and the instructors knew nothing of this program that was suppose to be a learning tool, might I add we don’t get study guides or reviews for an exam. we were tested on proctored exams through ATI, but half of those questions we weren’t taught or lectured yet. So it would dramatically effect our grades. They tell you not to worry and but you SHOULD! when students state there concerns and use our chain of commands, it just hits a dead end and nothing changes. After failing mod 1 I returned to retake two classes and paid out of pocket nearly $4000 for two classes. I understand these are accelerated courses but Never again! I don’t recommend the institution in Fresno. Definitely do your research.

The negative reviews are absolutely true, never ever disregard what people write on this review. Gurnick is only after your money. To be honest only a handful of the instructors are good, the rest are never accountable for their actions. If there was a zero star rating, that's what I will click. Some instructors fail to show up to class, while having others cover for them, then they blame the student. When they do show up all they do is read off the slides, then set questions on what they did not teach or discuss in class. They are very unfair in their judgements and how vindictive they are to the students. Only a handful of the instructors know their stuff, but don't forget that one bad apple spoils the bunch. In a million years I will never suggest Gurnick to anyone. If you know what's good for you RUN!. Don't waste your time or money. There is no structured program, as they can cancel classes at anytime. Some instructors have their favorite that they give extra points to while ignoring the rest. I don't know about the other campuses, but Fresno campus is a big NO. Then I noticed they make you offer courses that are not really needed, but obviously to make up for the huge fees they are charging, they put in some courses that other nursing school don't offer. I've heard of ex-students still writing the Nclex one year after graduating from Gurnick, that says a lot right?

I found this school after having my daughter. I knew I had to finish school but it was difficult to find a nursing program that offers night classes until I came across Gurnick. The journey has been tough and nursing school is no joke but I have to give the school the credit it deserves.

Our schedule was consistent, if anything had to be changed we were noticed in advance.
Instructors were great and the staff was very supportive.
Consider Gurnick but don't expect the journey to be easy.
My best advice is to keep up on your school payments, study hard and never give up! Good luck!

I was in the first Generic ADN program for RN. Although it was a difficult program due to it being accelerated and a bit unorganized since it was the very first cohort. The staff/instructors have definitely been through trail and error and established a schedule and coursework regimen that works well as the cohorts increase. Didactic instructors and clinical instructors are always willing to go above and beyond. Even after you graduate if you need additional support and help with board exam preparation and finding a job they’re there every step of the way. I was able to have great clinical experiences at some of the Fresno’s best hospitals. Very thankful I chose this school!
