Guilty! I didn’t think this place was going to be interesting! It is! It’s also deceptively huge, and honestly you wouldn’t think it from its demure front door which is in the back where the parking lot is. Ohy, the giant meeting space is well worth a look too. There’s only so much a city budget will allow for a museum. I have to admit It’s obvious this is a labor of love and commitment. And you can get a little bit of everything here. Mostly You see what Victorian style homes were set up once in their rooms, then items are littered across the whole museum showing the history of the past community that made this part of Ohio come into existence in the early 1800’s. The real shockers how they were able to set it up to make it feel like you were there with rooms that engulf you into that time, come and enjoy. If you can stay the night over at the Golden Lamb, that completes the whole experience.

This is truly a hidden gem!!! They have a wide variety of great items. The staff are the very best at welcoming people in and explaining where everything is. Loved the Christmas exhibits 🎄❤️

Interesting venue for local history lovers. A memorial hair wreath? Have never seen one until we visited here! FYI, entrance is behind the building. Also, once a month historical lunch may interfere with your visit if you don't plan around it. Interesting enough for me to buy an annual membership.
