I am from the class of 2019 and I have loved every minute here. The staff pushes you to do your best and if you're stressed and breaking down, you can talk to any of them and they will listen with full intent to help you. I can say with my entire being that I am college ready because of this amazing school. Anyone who wants to complain about the rigor of this school was not prepared to do work. I have had my plate full of electives and extra curricular activities and I graduated and off to college with all my tuition paid and more.

I completely disagree with most if not all of the previews comments. I graduated from Harmony in 2013 (2nd graduating class) and it was a great experience for me. The best of the best. I was there practically from the beginning, as freshman at the time there was only one class before us so the school was still brand new. I went through all the principal changes. There was about three just in that first year I was there. The principle that was there before Mr. Brown was there for about 2ish years up until C/o of 2012 graduated and literally took off that day as far as I know. The next year (my senior year) Mr. Brown came and within a few weeks he knew who I was. None of the other principles ever really bothered to sit down in the tables during lunch and just talk, random things about school and who you were but he did. It felt strange at first but then you get used to it quick I could tell he was really trying to make an effort to get to know all of us and what we felt about Harmony. Given I was one of those students who had great relationships with all of the administration staff but that is only because they had been there all four years either way I was able to establish the same type of relationship with him as I did with the other staff. He can be a bit awkward when speaking to but he is not selfish at all. I still go back to Harmony and have awesome conversations with him about his times in school. He's a great guy.
The school, again is the best of the best anywhere near the valley. As a college student I've gotten to meet students coming from elite school across the country and Harmony is up there. It's top notch and can easily compete with other urban high schools of 4,000+ students. They expect a lot from you because they know you can do it, most of the students there are from low income backgrounds and/or first generation and many of them/us have had the opportunity to go on to 4-year universities and receive multiple scholarships all thanks to the education the teachers there give us and the counselors! Mrs. Gray and Ms. Roche try their hardest to advise you and help out in anything that has to do with applying for college, scholarships, life, jobs and any advise in general. I can't thank Harmony enough for everything it has prepared me for.
There are many points of view to this but the point is, if you try, if you want to be there, and if you want to be successful then go to Harmony Magnet Academy. Just make sure you do your part, because the magic doesn't happen on its own.

The vice principal kept bugging me about the grades I have every day I was supper stressed already. This isn't a good school in my opinion I'm glad I switched freshman year, they make it out to be a good school but really it's not lmao bye

Well since this is a school ment for the the gifted and talented students they do have higher standards and requirements to meet. This is an awsome school located just behind Strathmore high school.

The school is not for your average student The staff has higher then average expectations of every single student that walks through the front door if you consider yourself an average student this is not the school for you.
